A casa fica inserida em ambiente rural, dentro de uma quinta, portanto, para além do espaço privado interior e exterior que a casa oferece, os hospedes podem disfrutar de grande parte do espaço comum partilhado (os proprietários também vivem na quinta).

A casa, antiga mas cuidadosamente restaurada, é um abrigo confortável e bonito, que lhe permite recolher-se no chilrear dos pássaros ou da água a correr, ou visitar os inúmeros pontos de interesse que a rodeiam.

Na zona envolvente podem realizar caminhadas na natureza, passeios pelo rio Douro e Paiva, visitar os Passadiços do Paiva ou descobrir os encantos das Montanhas Mágicas. Serão recebidos pelo anfitrião Vitó que, sendo local e conhecendo a zona, vos ajudará a descobrir os encantos da região.
