Tern House is immaculate, warm and inviting with stunning views. Went as a group of 6 to celebrate my brothers retirement and couldn’t have chosen a better house or location. Super range in kitchen, ideal for a big group, kitchen has all the utensils, pots dishes etc that you would need and all good quality. The views are amazing. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour but great to have a lovely warm house to come back to especially with the log burner on. Plenty of logs for the fire too. Had a wonderful break. Caroline Ailsa is a super host and would thoroughly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The house has everything you and is vey clean. The views are beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sheep go by in their daily trek For the days you just want to relax there is an extensive library with something for everyone. We highly recommend!

Clean, spacious, warm and quiet home on a quiet residential road. The property overlooks a loch joining the sea and is great for calm and quiet. Mac was very responsive and we had no problems. We loved the space and it was a well equipped kitchen which is not always a given. WiFi was great if you need it and the heating etc was all straightforward and effective. Lovely having two bathrooms too. Near various historic sites. And also pretty beaches (20-30 mins drive), and a lovely play park if you have kids near Eoropie Beach.

This is the BEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in – we mean it! It wasn’t just a lodge, it was a full-on experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with so many thoughtful touches – a lovely handwritten card, fresh flowers, a tray of fruits, and a fridge that was actually stocked (a rare Airbnb gem!). The owner is an absolute sweetheart – super responsive, friendly, and clearly puts her heart into making guests feel at home. She even included a luxurious-feeling body lotion – a little detail that made a big impression (and one we’ve never seen at other Airbnbs). My family really, really loved our time here. In fact, we ended up cutting short our day 2 itinerary just so we could soak up every last second at the lodge. That’s how much we didn’t want to leave. It’s cozy, beautiful, and filled with love – truly one of a kind. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. If you’re lucky enough to book a stay here, trust us – you’re in for a treat. We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place in Skye. We felt very at home and would never get bored of that view. My favourite spot was the extension with views over the bay, the perfect spot for a sunrise/sunset meditation. Skye is beautiful. We had a truly wonderful week. Thank you Sarah for being a great host. Highly recommended.

Ideal for us attending a wedding in Carloway Free Church and reception in Breasclete Community Centre. House was spotless and well equipped. Very generous welcome basket which included a wee gift for baby in our party so thank you for your thoughtfulness and a lovely stay.

An amazing place in such a beautiful location. Everything in our stay was perfect from start to finish and anything we needed from Fiona was provided straight away. Highly recommend this place and would love to return again.

The Spoons was the best Air BNB we have ever stayed in and we have travelled widely . It was the perfect combination of a warm welcome, great communication by Douglas and the luxury yet homely feel of the place. Catherine has great style in furnishing the house and with great attention to every small detail to make the stay perfect - with local sourced crafts and a generous welcome hamper. The location is very peaceful with stunning views, yet is easily accessible to Portree and exploring all over Skye. We wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely return and would highly recommend it as think it would be impossible to beat this very special place.

A fab spot, amazing views, pub just a walk away, enclosed gardens perfect for the children & dog, very comfortable to stay in, slept well, warm & cosy.

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Cottage war einfach wundervoll! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von einer warmen, einladenden Atmosphäre empfangen – das Haus ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt. Alles war blitzsauber, geschmackvoll dekoriert und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Umgebung ist herrlich ruhig, ideal zum Entspannen, und gleichzeitig gibt es in der Nähe viele schöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Besonders gefallen hat uns der gemütliche Wohnbereich mit Kamin. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Cottage wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

What a gem. Our stay at 48 Ballalan was everything we hoped it would be - peaceful, relaxing, with beautiful views, and a very cosy atmosphere. The house has real character with the art, furniture, and furnishings all telling a thoughtful story. All too often an AirBnB lacks a decent selection of Karl Ove Knausgaard or Cy Twomby exhibition books, but not this time! Thank you Calum for a perfect stay - from the beach walks to the distillery visit we wouldn’t change a thing. Would love to come back again! Callum, Sofia and Aria

No 3 is a magic location with spectacular views, that change with the tide. The foot bridge below the house means easy access to the sandy bay; coming back at full tide was a fun challenge.

Duncan was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is very comfortable and warm in a beautiful setting. Could just sit and gaze out of the window at the changing tides and skys and the birds. The only downside was that the bathroom was downstairs and bedrooms up but we got used to the stairs. Had some great walks and some very good food in the pub.

Great little cottage in a beautiful location, Fiona was super helpful with everything I asked her. The cottage was just perfect for what I needed for the week, perfect place to switch off from the world and be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. Loved my week off and will definitely look to book here again if I come back to Lewis for a visit.

We had a fantastic week at Rod and Katrin's old croft. We felt at home right away, everything was there that you could possibly need, it's the perfect base for a week of exploring. We cooked every evening and sat out on the cliff nook with the amazing view. Kitchen fully equipped which made it really easy. Nice clean bedding and towels, lots of space, and cosy evenings reading by the fire. Thank you both - we want to come back next year with more of our family. Very best
