The house is a 3 minute drive to the grocery store, Dollar General, Jack’s, pharmacy and gas stations. A 10 minute drive from the Tennessee river with marina. Scottsboro is the closest big town, where there is golfing, fishing, hunting and plenty of restaurants available. A 20 minute drive to Goose Pond Colony; 35 minutes from lake Guntersville. There are several places within a 30 minute drive that are recreational. The house is out in the country on top of Sand Mountain, beautiful area.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. Charming bluff house in quiet town with nice view of the Tennessee Valley. Gorham's Bluff is a small community with a lodge, meeting house, small library, amphitheater, duck pond and scenic overlook. A relaxing get away for rest and relaxation or working remotely without interruption. BE AWARE THERE IS CONSTRUCTION GOING ON NEXT DOOR AS A HOUSE IS BEING BUILT. Designer-decorated cabin w/seasonal views, hot-tub, fire-pit, ROKU TV's, & WIFI. Main Bath was updated- luxury tile spa shower. New mattress in Master. 1 mile from downtown Mentone & 5 minutes to DeSoto Falls. Covered deck over brow. Spacious yet cozy-feeling. Wood fireplace and fire-pit. Keurig and drip maker. Charcoal grill. View is partially obstructed part of spring and summer. We allow dogs up to 25 pounds, no labs or shedders.
