Home was better than the pictures! Location was great, 10-12 mins from downtown Cashier and a beautiful 25ish minute drive into highlands. It felt very homey and was very well stocked… definitely somebody’s second home. Loved our time here and would stay again!

This home was beautiful! Great views! We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting by the fire table in the mornings with our coffee. It was cold outside, but we managed! :)

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Jeffrey's place! We received detailed directions to the cabin from Amber and had no problems locating it in the dark. Jeffrey was out of town during our stay, but he sent messages daily to make sure we were settled in and had no problems. Our only issue was the internet because it wasn't working and that was pretty much the only way to watch tv, but Jeffrey responded to my message promptly with an apology and an explanation (we understood bc things happen). I was able to connect to my phone's hotspot so it all worked out and we were able to watch our college football games! Maggie Valley was just a short trip for food and shopping, and then we visited Cherokee which was just a little further over the mountain. Saw lots of Elk at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center just outside of Cherokee! Our favorite fall activity is just driving the mountain roads and enjoying the scenery, and Jeffrey's house was a great starting point for everything!

Lovely vintage inn with lovely hosts. The breakfast was great as well!

Grand Lodge was perfect for our overnight stay. Rooms were just as described. The main cabin was charming and warm. Breakfast was over the top awesome, just adding to Jeffrey’s warmth and hospitality. We recommend and will stay again!

Breakfast is included in the price, also the coffee and tea bar in the public room. This airbnb has such a cozy atmosphere, we really would recommend staying here.

Can’t possibly say enough good things about this spot. Both John and Debbie were incredible and I left feeling like I had made new friends. Already miss this place and can’t wait to come back next time. If you’re looking for somewhere in the area to stay this should absolutely be #1 on your list.

Jeffrey was super friendly and the attention he gave to breakfast was outstanding including fresh squeezed orange juice and apple juice. I loved the music he played during breakfast. The lodge is maybe a little tired but very charming and my bed was very comfortable. The dining room and the great room were very comfortable and the great room had an amazing fireplace.

Always a pleasure! This is our second trip here and we love it. It is welcoming and rustic with an amazing breakfast. We love that it is pet friendly and all of the guests socialize with each other as well. Definitely will return.

Lovely historic home and friendly, helpful hosts. We wanted to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants of downtown Waynesville, and we love to stay in a place with a story - Love Lane Inn absolutely delivered. John and Debbie are just delightful, and the house is gorgeous. The Easy Suite is on the top floor and has its own sitting room. We loved it and look forward to staying again!

Friendly host, luxury linens, and the most beautiful surroundings!! This place was awesome. My husband and I arrived late on Christmas night around 9pm. I mentioned to TJ how we weren’t able to find anywhere open to eat (because of Christmas) and TJ (the innkeeper) ended up making us 2 turkey sandwiches for dinner!! Talk about hospitality. We stayed in the Riverside Suite and the linens were AMAZING. I was not expecting that but the sheets were ultra soft as well as the towels and the mattress was so comfy. Literally checked the brand to buy the towels for my house. The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after hiking all day and our pup enjoyed every minute. I was grateful to get to chat with TJ and the story behind the inn and how he has put his heart in soul into that place. You can feel that spirit and love throughout the whole property. We will definitely be back!!
