the home was amazing and the pictures definitely do not do the plot of land justice! we spent the first few hours just walking around looking at the view. the house itself was very well cleaned and stocked. we cooked two full dinners and had all the tools we needed to get the job done. the had plenty of towels and toiletries. The only strike I can give is that the front door deadbolt was pretty stiff and it took me a few minutes to get inside. not a huge issue at all!

Perfect stay and location for a weekend of hiking in West Virginia. We hiked Seneca Rocks, Chimney Top, and Nelson Rocks. Also great food & drink at Big Timber Brewing and Smoke on the Water BBQ. Conveniently located right near Elkins for groceries, gas, and food options. It was awesome to use the fire pit, as well as relax on the top balcony listening to the stream run by. We would love to stay here again some day.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home—it truly felt like a home away from home. Wendy was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. She had everything you could possibly need or want already available, which made our stay even more comfortable. Even when we reached out a few times, she responded quickly and kindly every time. The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We had an amazing experience, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family retreat!
