Bill made the effort to meet me and show me how everything worked in the apartment. He was also very responsive and helpful when I had questions. The apartment is perfect in both its amenity and location. It was warm. The couch and bed are really comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. Though, I didn't really cook anything. Just prepared my breakfast. The washing machine/dryer worked easily thanks to Bill's very comprehensive and clear instructions and I could get to everything I wanted to see on foot. Having said that, there's buses and taxis readily available if you don't want to walk. Restaurants and a large supermarket are also close by. I felt really at home and wished I'd stayed longer.

We spent 12 days in Japan, and this was by far the best place we booked! The Japanese style house is big, with everything you need, even a small first aid kit. Honestly even better than what we expected! We haven't met Yu in person, but he was super responsive and helpful, he allowed us an early check-in since we were travelling with a 1 year old and lots of luggage. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here in Kanazawa! Diana was super responsive and helpful, and even when she wasn't available to meet us and walk us through the house in person, another family member was waiting for us to welcome us in, and Diana walked us through the house over the phone. If you want to get an authentic place to stay while you're in Kanazawa, this place is perfect! We enjoyed the option of choosing either a futon or western bed, and the space you get is amazing - very roomy! All appliances came with very easy to follow instructions, and the vibes of the place overall were cozy, quiet, and homey - it was a great, peaceful place to come home to at the end of our Kanazawa days. :) Thanks for an awesome stay!

This town home had the perfect blend of traditional and modern with its artsy renovated inside. It was so well thought out, well designed, and was so intriguing, it was our favorite place to stay. We loved what the concept was, its beautiful details were interesting and yet Warm and cozy. Thank you for such a nice place to stay in Kanazawa.

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located in a beautiful and serene town surrounded by nature but close enough to town so that if you wanted, you could easily walk into the center and enjoy restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the Insect Museum! With a car you can do trips to the bigger city of Kanazawa as well as other surrounding attractions in nature. The house was inviting, comfy, and most of all spotless! The bedrooms were prepared for us, the bathrooms were basically sparkling, and the living room; with its wood burning stove was so cozy! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was completely perfect. We are grateful to the hosts for offering up their beautiful home and their amazing hospitality. We truly cannot wait to go back!

This 95 year old traditional house is beautiful. It's perfectly located, right next door to the Omicho Market and a short walk to the Castle and gardens. We let the host know we intended to walk to the accommodation from Kanazawa Station and she sent through a map and photo guide. She then meet us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and also afood/tourist map. We were there over Golden Week and the host let us know about special holiday attractions we should check out. We highly recommend this accommodation, we loved it.

We stayed at Yumi’s and it was just awesome! Really a lovely place, very well located from the noise but very much in a perfect location! It was a very big place, loads of space for a family of 4 to enjoy the entire house! Yumi was very responsive, friendly and always communicating! We can’t say enough about her place, it is highly recommended! If you visit Kanazawa, this is the place! Yumi - thank you so much and hopefully will be back at some point!

Appartement très fonctionnel et propre. Bill a été très réactif et de bon conseil. Un petit bémol sur le léger bruit de la route à proximité qui peut gêner les gens sensibles. Autrement tout était parfait.

William is a great Airbnb host. We were delighted with the accommodation, the location, the easy instructions to get there and the facilities in the apartment. We were able to walk to lots of places of interest - the beautiful Japanese gardens were a real highlight. William was always on hand if needed, but everything was so straightforward so we did not need to call on him. Great stay and would recommend.

Le logement est idéalement situé près du parc et du château. Tout se fait à pied même les autres quartiers qui sont proches également. L’appartement est spacieux et Michio a été un hôte très réactif et gentil. Je recommande vivement !

We had the perfect stay at Bill’s apartment. Both modern and luxurious, attention to detail can be found throughout this gorgeous home. The shower has excellent pressure and lots of hot water, the beds (+ pillows) and sofa are extremely comfortable, the kitchen has all the amenities one could want, and the intelligent toilet is a really cool “extra”. The area is very quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk away from all the attractions, shops, and restaurants… you couldn’t ask for a better location. Finally Bill is a very kind gracious host who clearly takes pride in providing an excellent experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Leider hat es während meines Aufenthaltes viel geregnet, ich war sehr froh über die gut funktionierende Heizung und die Möglichkeit was zu kochen, alles funktionierte gut, optisch ist es nicht die schönste Unterkunft, vor allem der Blick aus dem Fenster ist etwas trist, aber sonst sehr praktisch, toll dass es eine Leselampe gab

Love the place, very considerate host even provided us with pyjamas. The place is as shown in the photos, mattress and blanket are comfy. We felt right at home. Short walking distance to 24hours Lawson, 7 mins walk to Kanazawa train station as described. Everything you need is in the train station. We loved it!
