the accommodation was grand and spacious. the bedrooms were comfortable. there was issue with the bathroom doors not able to close. the host was responsive and said will get fixed. the common areas felt a bit hot due to lack of fans or ac. host said will adress this. overall will recommend this place

Alles sehr gut und tolle Anlage. Einzig die Affen in der Nacht hätten etwas leiser sein können, aber das gehört meiner Meinung nach dazu. Gute Lage und großer Parkplatz

The cabana is modern and beautiful, with a lovely garden surrounding it. The place felt very cozy and The staff was very helpful and quick to answer any questions and booked a safari for us. They were also kind enough to prepare breakfast in advance to take with us on a very early hike. We did have an instance where we were waiting for food that we ordered for very long which was annoying, but this was simply a miscommunication from both sides, as we assumed it was room service rather than at the restaurant area. The daytime was full of lovely nature sounds, but at night it was a bit noisy from other properties nearby playing loud music. There are restaurants within walking distance, but sites such as Sigiriya rock are 20 mins away by car. Overall, would highly recommend to stay here!

I recommend Nilambara Lake View to everyone. The place is located few kilometers from the road, it’s peaceful, you can relax in the pool. The host is also really helpful, breakfasts are delicious! :)

Odsjeli smo u kućici na drvetu, bilo je sve odlično. Super smještaj u prirodi, dosta se čuju ptice i majmuni skaču po krovu i dolaze na terasu. Nama je to bilo okej. Doručak odličan, preporuka za barbecue dinner. Domaćin nam je organizirao safari i bilo je izvrsno i cjenovno pristupačno. Bazen je predivan i super nam je došao nakon obilaska da se osvježimo. Lokacija je odlična, Sigiriya je blizu, Polonnaruwa sat vremena udaljena, u mjestu ima slonova koji šeću uz cestu. Nama se jako svidjelo!

La nourriture est excellente et très bien cuisinée, petit déjeuner au top. le tout avec des produits frais. Três bel endroit avec une belle vue et une belle piscine. Hôtes agréables et réactifs, comme l'ensemble du personnel. Je recommande. une grand merci pour ce beau séjour. Laurent

The stay in Dhona's Villa in Sigiriya was excellent. We booked all 4 rooms and had the whole place to ourselves and another family that was travelling with us. The caretake, Pasindu, was present with a friendly smile to greet us. He attended to our every need. We ordered dinner and breakfast and had it in the outdoor deck overlooking the swimming pool and garden. It was a beautiful setting. All 4 rooms were spotless and had their own toilet and shower. The rooms were all air conditioned. Thank you Ajith, Pasindu and the team for a wonderful stay.

The Cabins in Habarana are a must!! The accommodation is even more beautiful in person and is so tranquil. The staff were terrific - they helped us organise trips to Hurulu Eco Park for elephant safari (an amazing experience), Lions Rock, the Caves in Dambulla and our transfer to Kandy. We also ate there both nights of our stay and the food was fabulous.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, die Aussicht war traumhaft. In der Unterkunft kommt ab und zu Lassie vorbei und schaut nach dem Rechten, man fühlt sich jederzeit sicher und es sind immer die Hausmeister ansprechbar. insgesamt ist es ein tolles Anwesen mit fürsorglichen Gastgebern + Team! Das Dinner und Frühstück sind empfehlenswert und ich durfte sogar mit dem Kayak auf dem See fahren. Ich habe es sehr genossen und kann die Unterkunft allen empfehlen die die Natur lieben. Ein paar Ameisen & Geckos gehören mit dazu, das war aber kein Problem und hat nicht gestört. Danke für diesen malerischen Ort!

Notre séjour à Raintree était parfait, Su et son mari était très accueillant et toujours disponible. Ils nous ont beaucoup aidé à trouvé des bons plans et sont même venus nous chercher et nous déposer à l’arrêt de bus. Tout le personnel a été aux petits soins pour nous. La cuisine était excellente et le lieu est si apaisant. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.

Avec mon mari, nous avons passé 2 jours Chez Sumedha et sa famille, et l'expérience était superbe ! Le logement est incroyable, une cabane perchée dans les arbres comme on en avait envie. Les équipements sont largement suffisants, la litterie très agréable. la cabane est au fond d'une impasse donc on est tranquille. Concernant la famille hôte, c'est une famille en or ! Ils sont à notre écoute pour la moindre question, très serviable (pour des recommandations de visite, la commande d'un taxi ou autre) et le repas du soir était un délice ! Nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

The Raintree Retreat is a real gem! The property is huge and therefore each bookable house comes with a lot of privacy. The nature is stunning with fishes, turtles, lizards, monkeys and so many exotic birds to watch (incl. Kingfishers). At nighttime we even saw many fireflies. And to our surprise there are hardly any moskitos thanks to the fishes. Beside this amazing nature-experience our highlight were the hosts and their utmost welcoming and caring manner. Sue and her husband are such lovely people and we enjoyed the time we spend together. Uthpala took us even to a nearby river and we had a dip in the fresh water together. Our kids loved it! On top of all that we were really blown away by the ultra yummy food. Home cooked srilankan dishes in the evening and a great breakfast, always trying to match our kids taste (not spicy and lots of waffles and pancakes ;-) Thanks again for making our holidays sooo great!
