We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Noah's home is a little slice of paradise on the coast of Maine. It's private, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. We found the home very clean and well-cared for. My husband, children, and I spent a week unwinding at Noah's home and only wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly loved the fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, and the kayaks. Beds were super comfortable. Views were gorgeous and location perfect jumping off point to explore nearby Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington. Highly recommend visiting during autumn. We can't wait to return!

This is a small cottage right ON the “Old Harbor” in Vinalhaven. The view from the deck is just stunning. We had everything we needed, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back!

This was a really lovely rental and the perfect house for a week's getaway for 3 girlfriends. The house was in a great location - easily walkable to shops & restaurants; was clean and well stocked, and the host (Carrie) was very responsive to our inquiries. This is a gorgeous house with everything we needed for a fall trip to Coastal Maine. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails and also ventured further to Bar Harbor, Boothsbay and Portland for daytrips. Our only issue was with the internet/wifi - it was down a lot during our stay. Host was quick to respond about the internet outages, but after it went down the 3rd or 4th time I just gave up on it. Despite that single, small glitch, I would 100% rent this house again as long as I had a hotspot or didn't need to work during my stay. Absolutely recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Fred's place. It's so peaceful and quiet and joyful. The lake itself is such fun to explore and we enjoyed watching the ducks, the loons, and other birds. The cottage itself is exactly as advertised. Peaceful and amazing, with such fun art and other delightful ways to spend your time. This was a much-needed break from the fast pace of our modern world! Highly recommend. Thank you Fred, we hope to be back.

Hello! We absolutely LOVED our time at the house! My wife and I and our two kids (16 & 12) stayed there for the week in August. First off, everything was as advertised, organized and clean. And, this is a hidden gem of a property! It's is an unbelievable location and has everything you'd want for a great Maine getaway - it's on the water ( we saw a seal!), has kayaks and paddle boards, a fire pit, a great kitchen and a great BBQ. The home was immaculate as I mentioned and had everything living-wise you'd need. Jay is also a great host & had many great recommendations for the area. The kids had a blast, as did we. 10/10 all around!

The interior and exterior spaces of this home, its abundant and thoughtful amenities (for example, 4 different kinds of coffee makers) and the flexibility and communication responsiveness of the host made this an outstanding place for our family to pull together and mourn after the recent death of a close family member. Its close proximity to the home of the deceased’s spouse was an additional boon to us. Ample interior spaces made gatherings of all of us comfortable and warm. Multiple smaller spaces, including the well-appointed game room and exterior deck provided private interaction spaces for 2 or 3, when needed. The very quiet neighborhood provided for pleasant walks down to the beach, or just around the streets when that was appropriate. All of this, in addition to its immaculate presentation made this home to be as good of a place as could be imagined, for our timely needs.

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

Sherry's place was the perfect calm getaway we were looking for. Very peaceful and a great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our dog will surely miss her morning swims in the pond!

We had a wonderful stay at Priscilla’s place. Her brother lives in a house in front of the Airbnb - he stoped by to give us few apples from the farm. Very friendly people. Safe and beautiful surrounding. Perfect place to watch sunrise from the backyard. Initially we had some reservations about not being able to lock the house when we went out but her brother reassured us that the neighborhood was safe and even offered to get a lock placed that day.

This is our second stay here and it was wonderful. You can get to places for sightseeing like Acadia, Camden, Rockport but once you are at the house, you are far from the bustle. The lake is so peaceful, clean and quiet.

Quintessential coastal rural Maine--rustic, historic barn converted to home, within steps to views of Penobscot bay, and the incredible hiking trails of the Holbrook Island Sanctuary. The upstairs gaming room/den is a fantastic retreat in the after hours of exploring this scenic region. Hosts are respectful, warm and welcoming, the kind of neighbors you wish for.

A rustic, cozy cabin in the woods close to everything. Best part for us was the wood burning stove. We loved nothing more than sitting by the fire reading our books.

The perfect place to stay for a peaceful vacation - the home is extremely well appointed and had everything we could possibly need and more. The lake is even more beautiful than the photos and we enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub each day we were there. We would highly recommend.

Janine’s place was beyond what I expected! The space is much bigger than the photos show and the surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful but close enough to surrounding towns & trails. My husband and I stayed here with a couple friends for a wedding and we had such a lovely time kayaking, reading by the lake, and making breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved my stay and Salisbury Camp. I was there in October during peak foliage and the view from every window was just stunning! The interior is beautiful, everything is high-end and well-done. Huge kitchen that had everything I needed. The yard is right on the shore, there’s a solo stove, kayaks and a canoe, and it’s just a peaceful spot to relax. Jenny was very helpful and proactive in all communications, and even provided welcome treats from Stonewall Kitchen, along with a bottle of wine. I had to leave a day early due to a family medical emergency and she was so thoughtful and kind. My only regret is that I didn’t get to use one of the kayaks to explore the pond. Next time! I definitely plan to return, this is such a wonderful spot!

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

The owner Trish was there to greet me when I arrived and showed me around. The house is literally in the woods and is a little rustic and very charming. The kitchen was very clean and very well stocked with modern amenities. This was my first time in Maine and the house was everything I hoped for.

This cabin was a wonderful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We're so thankful for our host's recommendations and overall communication. I miss it already!

Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

The location is magical . Loved waking up and seeing the scenery. The trail was really well maintained given all the snow. We've had a wonderful hike to the pond seeing only nature, not one person on the trail. It was fun stopping and trying to identify all kinds of animal tracks along the path. We are thinking of coming back in the spring or summer. Thank you for muffins Toby and Peter!!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is right on the lake and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, making a campfire in the firepit, and listening to loons. The location feels peaceful and quiet, and at the same time, Lincolnville and Camden/Rockport are close by. We appreciated that the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. Nicole was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

A gorgeous rustic cozy cabin with an incredible view. Not too far from Belfast or Camden, and was smooth getting into Common Ground in Unity. Galley kitchen with good appliances made meal prep convenient. Overall a cozy sweet experience.
