Cozy Winona Lake Apt. -Grace, The Village, & Lake!

Clean and cozy. Host was very responsive. Only issue was that I couldn’t find any garbage bags, so I couldn’t empty the garbages like I would have liked to. Beautiful tiny home and perfect location across the park with close access to forest trails.

I highly recommend this cozy well designed cottage in a lovely lakeside village! You can tell the owner’s work very hard to keep up the maintenance and make this home comfortable. We definitely will stay again if this is available.

Melody is a great host! Above and beyond expectations! All the little things you forget, she had there incase it is needed! Keeps the kids busy between pool and gameroom, did not get to check out creek much, but the grounds are beautiful! Will definitely go back!

We had such a wonderful stay! A few college friends got together for a long weekend getaway to antique shop in Nappanee and North Webster and this was the perfect spot. We all agreed we’ll need to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the lake and kayak!

Had a wonderful stay! Scott was very quick to answer any questions I had, prior to arriving. He also reached out during our stay, just to check in/ask if we needed anything, which was very kind and thoughtful. The house is adorable and cozy! The entertainment/movie room was everything and made us want to duplicate the setup at our own house! We are local to the surrounding area and usually visit the area in the summer, but this was a perfect spot for our son's 10th winter birthday celebration! ❤️ PS - the trains didn't bother us! They are quick stints and we thought it was cool/fun to listen for their arrival!

Our hosts were amazing! They took us in with a warm welcome and support after we were in immediate need of housing. The amenities were excellent from coffee to toothbrushes, dishes and linens. They had everything we needed to walk in and get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the view, sunshine and time together with our family.

This cottage is perfect for a getaway. Clean. Real clean not the tidy clean some claim as clean. Pictures are correct. We loved that the cottage had a pier to tie up our boat. It’s in a channel about three lanes wide & you ‘parallel park’. The pier has poles not cleats to tie to. It’s our first boating season & we have been visiting different lakes & setups - thought this might be helpful to share. Our children loved the book selection, the foldable stool, & the “bar” island table. We had a great time fishing on the lake during our stay - the water was so clear! Speaking of water, yes, the cottage’s water has a sulphur smell which is typical of Indiana but taste is fine (cooking, brushing teeth, etc.) Neighborhood was quiet in the fall when we stayed. The neighbors were kind & friendly. We felt welcomed by Nicholas, his information, & the amenities (basic spices, towels, utensils, tp, handsoaps, etc.) We would rent again.

This was a great cabin for our girls getaway. The cabin was clean and kitchen was pretty well stocked with dishes/utensils. It was nice to get out on the paddle boat and kayaks. Very quite lake and road. Restaurants/coffee weren't too far in Syracuse but we also spent the day in Winona Lake. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great time - cozy place, comfortable bedding, and can’t beat the location. We had fun playing games and walking to the playground across the street, using nearby hiking trails, and a short walk to the town shops. Fun family weekend to get away.

Lovely Lake Cottage aka The Yellow House

Our second time staying at the yellow house and we had the best time! The house is beautiful and stands out from all the other modern lake houses. Jennifer is great and helped us with the boat, the house, and had great recommendations. We’re already looking forward to next year!

We were in the area for a conference. We had a few couples traveling with us. Was very nice to be able to all stay together in a “ home away from home .“ We really enjoyed the nice big kitchen/ dining area . Victoria reached out several times to make sure everything went smoothly with check in and that we had what we needed. Thanks for the great place to stay!

We had a fantastic time. Wonderful location and absolutely beautiful home inside and out. Pictures do not begin to do this lovely place justice. Scott and Marli are very gracious and responsive. Their home is clean, comfortable and very well equipped with what you need for a wonderful getaway. The pier was the perfect spot to watch the sunrises and the view in the evenings overlooking the lake are breathtaking. We look forward to returning.

What a blessing it was to find this home for the weekend! ❤️🙏 Kara was the perfect host. She has put so many extra touches in the home to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The coffee/tea bar was an awesome sight and was stocked to the brim with everything you could think of and more. The house is beautifully decorated and absolutely SPOTLESS. The beds had awesome bedding and pillows and were very comfortable. Even the bathroom towels were thick and good quality (these kind of details go far in my book 😁). We were in town for a weekend wedding so we didn't get to explore the town much but what we did get to see was beautiful! I hope to get back there again and stay longer. Thank you for sharing your home!
