Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

The venue is beautiful designed so much space with different areas yet not huge. Host was always helpful and responded quickly. We loved the house it was a home

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

Cindy's place is great, with a wonderful outdoor entertainment and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Cindy was quick to reply to any queries or requests for assistance. Thanks Cindy!

Elena's house was exactly what we asked for. We had the most amazing stay and the house is spacious, well equipped and has a large swimming pool. It is a 10 minute walk to Robberg Beach, something we did twice a day. Very clean beach with warm water. The house is close to great restaurants, a grocery store and a gym. Some breakfast places were within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. We would recommend her house to friends.

We stayed at Vista Laguna over the holidays! It was fantastic and we will definitely be back!

Gorgeous apartment in an incredible location! You walk straight out onto the main high street which was so handy as we were working remotely, so could really easy go and work from cafes when we wanted to to. The balcony is big and spacious with a lovely view and the underground parking felt really secure. Would recommend as the perfect base in Plett!

It was a pleasure for us to stay at Lenas Place. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who also speak german. The place itself is close to the beach and only 7 minutes from the Robberg Nature Reserve in a secured area. If we would come back to Plett, we would book this apartment again. What a magnificent stay! This unit is an absolute gem - elegant, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. Viola has an exceptional eye for design, and every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The kitchen was better equipped than most homes, with absolutely everything we could have needed. The views are breathtaking - set higher on the ridge, you get sweeping ocean vistas that are hard to beat! DO NOT rely on Google Maps’ walking time estimate to the beach (it claims its 27 minutes, but even at a slow pace, it only took us 14 minutes). It's a walker / runner's dream location. Viola and Thomas were outstanding hosts - unbelievably kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. We were genuinely sad to leave. I highly, highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return!

Lovely place in the hills from which you can watch the sunset and see a bit of the bay. The place is clean and has everything you need, even an air fryer :) Carla replied quickly and guided us in easily. THANK YOU very much for having us!

Lovely accommodation and great stay had by all. Cleaning lady was a great help with laundry and keeping the place neat and tidy. Rooms spacious and lovely living areas. We used the Braai twice during our stay and enjoyed this very much. Lovely outdoor area however it only really got sun during the morning for a short period of time however you are right beside the beach so we just ventured down there. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks Linda!

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

The location of the stay is amazing, and the view from the bedroom is truly spectacular. There’s a lot of space and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay, I highly recommend!

The place is so beautiful and neat. A 1000% as seen on the pictures. There is a pristine pool just a walking distance away. The kitchen is fully functional with everything you could possibly need. The security is top tier. A real treat for someone looking for a peaceful stay away from the city. There is also a shopping mall for groceries (Checkers) and (Dischem) a +-2 mins walking distance away

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s place in Goose Valley, Plettenberg Bay. The apartment is beautifully situated right on the golf course, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is fantastic — close to everything while still feeling private and serene. The interiors were stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Mirjam hat uns super freundlich begrüßt. Das Apartment war genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen sehr geräumig und modern eingeräumt. Die Lage war auch super mit vielen Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen (belebte Zone laut Google). Ich würde sagen ein sehr guter Stay in Plettenberg!
