We absolutely loved our stay at Rodney and Christa's. He was super chilled and helpful right from the start all the way to the end. The apartment has everything you can think of and is specially handy for those diving (like we were). Rodney made sure we had everything we need and was specially helpful on our last day when we had to leave on a late flight but we were able to leave our stuff at theirs. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation for those looking for a quiet but fully equipped home. Thanks Rodney and Christa! We will come back whenever we come back to Bonaire!

We loved staying at Caren’s! The location was excellent, the view was phenomenal–all just as presented. Caren was available and helpful but never invasive. I truly felt like we had a private space the entire time. The accommodations were modern, clean and functional. We were thrilled to get access to the rooftop terrace, even though we rented a lower unit. There were no guests staying upstairs during our visit, so Caren graciously let us use the rooftop when we wanted, which was magical. Amazing views; perfect sunsets. Would definitely stay here again. The beautiful views, convenient location, excellent communication and utopian surroundings more than made up for it! Thank you so much for a lovely experience. We will be back!

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in dit geweldige huis! Het is huis is heerlijk privé met een enorme tuin. Prachtig uitzicht over het groen met talloze vogels. Het huis is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Houd je van koken? De keuken is zeer uitgebreid ingericht! De ligbedden bij het zwembad zijn heerlijk, fijne zitjes, heerlijke bedden, overal airco’s & (stille) ventilatoren. Badkamer perfect. Kortom, een heerlijk huis. De locatie van het huis is een stuk ten noorden van Kralendijk in een hele mooie wijk. Wij noemden het ‘The Beverly Hills’. Een auto is echt een must. Ook leuk, vanuit de tuin kan je zo de Wayaka trail op lopen. Wij hebben iedere ochtend een stevige ochtendwandeling gemaakt. Twijfel je dit huis te reserveren? Niet doen, je gaat het hier fantastisch hebben!

Literally, everything was easy, comfortable, and accommodating. We loved the private patio with visiting birds and the view of the ocean. Easy walk along the coastal sidewalk to access downtown, and this place was a half block from the shore for our evening sunset viewing. Kitchen was well stocked and we saved a lot of $$$ by buying groceries. Plentiful pillows and the beds were comfy, including the pull out couch bed. Place was clean, towels refreshed as needed. As divers, the convenient parking with a dunk tank, shower, and drying lockers just steps inside the property was a huge plus! I could go on and on about the great value, location, and accommodations, but I will tell you that our hosts were exceptional and that made the stay even better. We see no reason to look for any other place on our return trips to Bonaire. This is it!

It was a great place to stay. It was within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants and the water taxi to Klein Bonaire. The balcony was huge with great views of the area. But, the apartment is directly across from the main cruise ship dock and the views were partially blocked when the huge cruise ships were is port. One bedroom was enormous with a large couch, a large double bed, a bathtub, a separate shower and a single bed. It also had direct access to the balcony. A couple of issues: we were three couples yet there were only two sets of keys. We figured out a work around but it would have been better with three sets of keys. Also, only one set of keys worked to take us to the third floor on the elevator. Again, having all sets of keys working the elevator would have been better. Finally, there was only one parking space on the property and we had two vehicles. It was not really a problem since there was plenty of on street parking available nearby. Dan

Perfection. This house had everything we were looking for in order to make our Bonaire experience perfect. The bedrooms were spacious. The bathrooms were spotless. The kitchen/dining room were well appointed and had everything we needed. The deck was awesome. Location to the ocean was great for swimming, diving and snorkeling. Location to town center was great for dining options. I would love to go back and stay here.

We verbleven met z’n 2-en in Kas Suave. Wát een leuke plek en wat een fijn huis. Zeer smaakvol en met aandacht is deze plek ingericht. Om je absoluut thuis te voelen. De buitenruimte is geweldig met altijd het verkoelende briesje. John haalde ons van het vliegveld en bracht ons na 9 dagen weer terug. Alles wat je nodig hebt tijdens het verblijf hier, was er. In het schuurtje liggen snorkelspullen, stoeltjes en parasols. We mochten het allemaal gebruiken. De keuken was heel compleet, qua keuken-en kookgerei tot kruiden. John had bier en fris in de koelkast klaar staan en koffie/thee voor de volgende ochtend. De slaapkamers hebben fijne grote bedden en airco. Wanneer we weer naar Bonaire gaan, willen we absoluut weer hier verblijven. Peter en Margaret

If you are hesitating to book Casa Esmeralda, make your reservations now! The pictures, while accurate, do not convey how lovely this house truly is. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed. We cooked several dinners and were impressed that any cooking implement we wanted, we easily found. Actual cookware that was quality and useful. Multiple wine openers. Serving dishes and plates. The bedrooms are quite comfortable, with the master suite truly amazing. The hostess met us upon check in and made sure that we knew where to find everything. She also provided yummy snacks and drinks to make our visit more pleasant. Spending mornings by the pool, and snorkeling right in front of the house, are activities that became the norm. The snorkeling was top notch. Look for the sea turtles! We saw several each day. It will be hard to go back to our "regular" house.
