Great location! Love visiting Clayton a few times a year. House was beautiful and will definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Our families enjoyed our stay at Lorraine’s place. The house was new and beautiful and perfect for our stay of 4 adults and 5 kiddos. The beds were super comfortable and the kids loved having their own floor. I loved the little girls extras in the house in the event you forgot lotion, toiletries, coffee etc. it rained almost daily, so getting wet wood to burn in the hot tub was tough, but once we had it rolling we were able to keep it warm for a couple of days. I enjoyed the challenge! The location is perfect and extremely private. Short drive to Clayton for dinner and super close to all of the state parks. We even ventured to Highlands one day. Easy trip. The hosts were extremely responsive and we would love to stay again. Beautiful home.

Once again, our family had a terrific stay on Lake Keowee in a beautiful spot! We always enjoy our time here and we so appreciate the lovely accommodations!

Tracie’s place was absolutely spotless, updated, and so peaceful. We would live here full time if we could! We LOVED the fence in yard for our dogs and the screened in back porch. The hot tub & lake were so fun too. We hope to come back to catch a Clemson football game in the fall.

Our girls weekend getaway was perfect at “the oranges” house. The home was cozy, well decorated, and close to the water. This host went above and beyond by pressure washing the kayaks before we arrived, and dropping off a little gift after one minor cleaning snafu. Thank you Marv & Ang for making us feel right at home!

The house was very clean, easy to find and the owners allowed us to check in early since we arrived in town earlier than we had expected. Easy check in and the pool table and hot tub were excellent amenities. Great communication from the owner and willing to assist us if anything came up!! Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Very comfortable well decorated spacious charming place in a great locations. Great set up! Loved being right off the creek and steps away from downtown. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here, so much so that we had to extend for a few days. It was clean, comfortable, and a gorgeous home. We loved hiking around the property and the hiking trail behind the house. We came when the cherry blossoms were blooming and there were dandelions and bugleweed all over the place. It looked like something out of a movie. Would definitely love to stay there again!

My wife and I just spent our wedding anniversary here this past weekend it was such a beautiful place we had the best of both worlds with the hot tub and the fishing was great off the dock. Caught a ton of catfish and smallmouths. The gift she left us for anniversary too was very thoughtful. Mimi is an amazing host and she responded to all my questions in a very positive and timely manner We are coming back again and again and again Thank you.

Super Stay at John's Place! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Easy to find, close to town. Great view, lovely deck, plenty of chairs to enjoy sitting outside, nice hot tub. Great get away place for families.

We stayed at Lizard Lodge for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and exactly as shown in the listing only better in person! We loved the location and how peaceful the surroundings of the cabin were. Enjoyed walking down to the lake and fishing a bit. Enjoyed the fire pit one night and enjoyed the hot tub twice and sitting on the swing down on the dock and on the front porch. Enjoyed having dinner on the back deck and watching the birds. Saw beautiful cardinals every day. The beds were very comfortable - slept great! Most of all, I can’t say enough about Sabir and co-host, Jennifer. They were very helpful and responded to any questions we had extremely quickly. This cabin was perfect for my family and they all agree how beautiful and comfortable it was. I would not hesitate to stay at Lizard Lodge again!

This place was absolutely spotless—so clean and well-maintained, even the small details showed just how much care and effort was put into making this a perfect stay. The hot tub was even bigger than expected, and the view was beautiful and peaceful. I was a little worried about the signal at first, but once we connected to the WiFi, it worked just fine. Evan’s communication throughout the stay was great! Honestly, I have nothing bad to say—everything exceeded expectations. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a really amazing stay! We spent two nights here for our mini honey moon after getting married. It’s an amazing cabin and beautiful location. I would highly recommend for any couples wanting to get away.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nordic Nest and will absolutely be back. However I do have to stress one thing that Brian did include in the description but I want to elaborate on it so no one is caught off guard. I will stress that you will absolutely need a vehicle that is not low to the ground. Long wheel base trucks may have to rework a few of the turns but it’s doable! It has complete switchbacks at some of the turns with extremely tight turning points & a few steep climbs, one that is pretty much straight up. It’s not impossible to do in a larger truck but will require extra caution especially if you’re not used to navigating the mountains. We took a midsize suv (Hyundai Tucson) and made it just fine. I loved the Nespresso seeing as I own one myself. The views from inside and outside are just breathtaking. It was an adventure getting to but completely private just like we wanted and we will definitely be booking again for future trips!!
