Bella Vita was a great host. The property was spotless. The home and backyard were lovely and relaxing. Very comfy beds and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and you could walk to downtown Douglas. A short drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Bella Vita was very responsive and accommodating. We have been coming to this area for many years and can honestly say this was the nicest property we have stayed at. We would definitely return to this property.

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay! Everyone raved about how beautiful the property was—from the peaceful setting to the gorgeous interior. The hot tub was a favorite spot for unwinding, and the well-stocked, spacious kitchen made it easy (and fun!) to cook all our meals in. We also loved having a grill to use! The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home to any large group looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway with all the comforts of home.

We stay at many Airbnb properties. This one ranks towards the very top. It is a beautiful home with everything you need and more. It was very clean and full of well-appointed antiques. Everything was in working order. Two dishwashers, an ice maker, and even a heated toilet seat! We enjoyed all of the games, which were in wonderful working condition. We walked in and were welcomed by soft music and gifts. It really is a wonderful place to stay. No hesitation to book this is warranted.

Frederick was responsive and helpful. The house was great. Comfortable and clean. It was the perfect house to sit around and talk with family.

This home is gorgeous and the lake views are fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Clean and cute place. My wife and friends stayed for a girls weekend. House was nice and in a decent neighborhood.

Just as the description said, the house was very clean and tidy with lots of space! The house is similar to the tardis; it appears small on the outside but is huge on the inside. Furniture and beds were cozy and the kitchen appliances were ready to use without needing a prior wash. Sometimes, you don't get that lucky. Although on the street, the inside of the house was peaceful and quiet. The house was also less than a 10 minute drive from most places we went, which is always a plus!

House was beautiful and perfect for our girlfriend's weekend! Everything the listing says it was! Thanks to the owners for fast responses too! Great stay!

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

This place was exactly what we needed. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in the area. The place was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

Everything was perfectly as described! What a beautiful home away from home. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was divine, and the kitchen was chef friendly! Plenty of counter tops and a gas stove (that was a plus!) I wish I could have stayed longer. Close to grocery markets and restaurants as well as a park. Beautiful neighborhood. Very safe.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

Fall time in Michigan is so much more beautiful when you can walk around, and boy did this place deliver. There's no need to touch your car once you park, no matter how long you stay. Endless shops, amazing restaurants (all 4 options we chose served us such good food), bars with live music, luxurious water views, galleries, fun experiences, and more all within easy walking distance. The space is beyond lovely with that beautiful water view. Whether we were exploring or relaxing in the living room, we were constantly enjoying the serenity of Saugatuck in the off season, silent outside past 6 but those bars pack up quick at night with for a fun time. It's such a welcoming city, and the space was just as welcoming. The shower was wonderful, kitchen fully stocked, many places to lounge with a book, cozy movie space. We absolutely loved our stay, hope to be back!

Very beautiful place. Secluded and peaceful, perfect for a quiet weekend away. Has a cute little town not too far away with plenty of places to eat and activities to participate in. Would definitely come back!

Great stay, the property is awesome! However, if you are looking for a stay where the host communicates quickly, this is not the one for you. They will respond, but all communication we had was off the Airbnb platform.

Ethan’s place was great for our short weekend getaway. It’s was clean and well kept. Had nice towels, tissues, TP, soap, dispose, garbage bags. Exit instructions were clear. One item to be aware of (which can be seen from the pics) is that the property does include stairs for getting in/out. This was not a problem for our group but is something to note if you have folks with mobility restrictions in your group.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the spa and pool table. It’s a fantastic place for a small group.

We rented this place 2 years back. We just loved this place so we decided to come back again over the last weekend. Our stay was very much enjoyable. House is very beautiful. Plenty of rooms, open space, lots of natural light. House was very clean, well equipped with all the essentials. We will definitely come back again. Thank you.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

Mermaid Cove was exactly as advertised. We brought our bikes, and it was a quick ride downtown Saugatuck. The sunsets were gorgeous, and the kitchen had all the amenities needed for a homemade dinner. We’ll definitely be back in the summer when the pool is open!
