We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

From the moment you arrive and take in the beautiful surroundings you won’t want to leave. Our stay at The Lantern was an amazing experience to immerse yourself in nature, reconnect and reset.See kangaroos in the early mornings and enjoy beautiful fires at sunset up on the wilderness cocktail bar taking in the wonderful views and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

Fantastic accomodation, beautifully presented, great location. Would suit a family with kids or a large group, plenty of room for everybody.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

Great, quiet location and comfortable house. Nicely renovated bathroom and kitchen. No laundry though. The kids loved playing in the yard and exploring. We saw a wombat, kangaroos and kookaburra. The birds were lovely to wake up to in the morning and the fireplace was beautiful to relax in front of.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

Definitely up there as one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Spotless and private space and an easy five minute drive to either Ettalong or Umina Beach. It was an incredibly well designed space, from the pocket doors to small tables next to power points to hold your devices, cereals and barbecue condiments available in the kitchen. The space was incredibly private with no line of visibility into the little self-contained flat. Would love to stay here again!

Second time coming here and it was as good as the first. Made awesome memories here two times, feels like home

4 days at Captains Cabin was so relaxing. We went kyacking around the island & to Lovetts. Fished off the jetty & caught so many different types of fish. Flathead, Snapper, Brim, Flounder, Whiting... Scotland Island is full of lovely alternate locals wandering by & wildlife.

Tiffany's studio in Clareville was a beautiful stay, both in the rain and the sun with a spectacular view over PIttwater. Even though we were just above the main house the separate entry meant we had complete privacy. It was beautiful and quiet and we slept really well, and woke up with the sun rising over the PIttwater (there are no blinds, but we didn't mind one bit!). The Angophora Reserve walk just up the road is a must, you feel like you are in a remote sub-tropical national park just a few minutes from your accommodation.

I loved staying here. One of the best quaint airbnbs I’ve stayed in for a while. Nice personal touches you can tell the hosts enjoy offering this space. I booked an extra day, felt right at home. Could easily stay a week. Would 100% come back.

We stayed at La Cabane for three nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The space was exactly as described: beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect; peaceful and private, yet just a short stroll to the beach. That easy beach access quickly became one of our favourite things. It felt like we had our own little sanctuary. This was hands-down one of the most relaxing getaways we’ve had. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our next stay. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

The loft villa was absolutely fantastic. Everything I had imagined and more. The view was amazing, quiet and peaceful, dozens of Wallabies right out the front at sunrise and on sunset. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away in a fantastic location.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lemon Tree Passage with Marc! Marc was super helpful and accomodating. Even over the Easter weekend, the location was so peaceful. Very close to other places in the Port Stephens area, so it was a great base to travel from. Thanks for having us :)

Dianne was a wonderful host, very helpful, quick to respond and kind. Her space is beautiful and homely, the gardens are magical and the location is highly convenient! I highly recommend this place and I’ll likely come to stay again in the future.
