The carriage house was built around 1840 and is the original structure updated with modern luxury amenities. Upon entering the carriage house, you will be met with a fully equipped kitchen and a full private bath, then proceed up the stairs to the loft portion and enjoy your stay.

Welcome to your home away from home. This 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home is located in a quiet, safe, family friendly neighborhood just 20 minutes from downtown Columbus. You’ll feel right at home with free wifi, memory foam mattresses and smart TVs in every bedroom. There is a large well-equipped kitchen but the house is also conveniently located to many different restaurants. There are two living areas and two dining areas with plenty of room to stretch out, rest, relax, or get work done.

This 4 bedroom home has a first floor master suite with private bath and 3 beds and a bath upstairs. Large Living room has 2 sofa beds, stack washer/dryer, Huge TV and a work space. Kitchen with new appliances, all bedrooms have new tvs new beds, new fridges. Large lighted free parking area out back 8+ vehicles. We are in a great private location that is 10 minutes from Clear Creek Metro Park and Christmas Rocks, 20 minutes from Cantwell Cliffs and Rockhouse, and 30 minutes to Old Man's Cave.

1846 Farmhouse Retreat | Near Hocking Hills

Wake up to a view of a 19th-century gristmill right outside your window — then walk across the street to explore it. The Rock Mill Farmhouse is a thoughtfully renovated 1846 home that was once the dwelling of the mill's keeper, and it still carries that history in every room: exposed original siding and beams, a winding staircase, an original A-frame ceiling in the upstairs bedroom, and a few charmingly low doorways that keep tall guests humble.

My wife and I bought this house at a sheriff sale. We didn’t buy it with our brain, we bought it with our heart. “How stupid was that” We couldn’t continue to watch this unique house continue its march toward too far gone to fix.
