Erin's place is really beautiful, with a truly gorgeous view in an idyllic spot. My dog and I came to unplug and hike, and it was the perfect location for us. The trails within very short walking distance were ideal! Erin was a great communicator and was very flexible and responsive. We hope to come back!

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

My family and I had the best time at Whimsy in the Woods and would go back in a heartbeat. The grounds were gorgeous with a little running pond, flowers , lights and surrounding trees. The inside was eclectic, vibrant and cozy with different walls of paint, art work and interesting furniture. My favorite room was the screened in sun room with huge windows and comfy furniture and magical lights. Whimsy in the Woods leaves no detail out with robes for the hot tub, a coffee and tea bar, temperature controlled rooms among too many extras to mention. We all didn’t want to leave!!

The cabin was such a lovely spot for a getaway. It was equipped with everything we needed, made the stay feel like we were home away from home. Love that the house was equipped with entertainment (tvs, board games, pool/foosball in the basement), the backyard was the best part! Loved the hot tub and hanging by the fire pit at the end of each night. Definitely a spot worth visiting, our family can’t wait to come back in the future!

This location is perfect for a weekend away from it all. no cell service and so remote! 😍 It is in a valley so it's more cold naturally. Everything in the home was as pictured. unfortunately for us someone used the gas grill wrong (as charcoal ruining it for us). Lydia was so responsive and was offering to bring us a new gas tank. This is a great couple and a wonderful place. Definitely worth your time in the quiet!

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's cabin. The place exceeded our expectations. There are so many thoughtful touches that made the place feel extra cozy. The wifi is a little spotty but that wasn't an issue for us. It was so nice to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Barely any cars drove by during our stay which made it feel extremely private. We definitely would love to return when it's warmer to enjoy the firepit and more time outside. Highly recommend!

The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

Very comfortable, peaceful gem. Chris was very responsive and even reached out proactively about an additional AC unit given warmer temps to be sure we were comfortable. We used the grill, fire pit and totally enjoyed the trail. Having coffee on the deck each morning was idyllic!!

This was a second property by Heather that I stayed at, and again she didn't disappoint. She has an impeccable taste for decorating. I can't wait to check out more Airbnbs she owns. thank you so much Heather! :-)

David provided us with an amazing log home, that was immaculately clean, well organized, and in a very beautifully peaceful location. He was very responsive and answered whatever questions I might have had, and I had a quite a few being this was the first time staying in an AirBNB. There were bibles in every room, and religious decorations that we found refreshing and comforting. I would like to thank David and everyone that helped him make our stay amazing. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Husky’s Hideaway is the perfect cozy cabin that feels like a home away from home. The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed to get away from our busy lives in the DMV. We loved sipping our coffee on the deck while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature….a calming salve for my nervous system.

We loved this cabin. It really is from the 1800's. I felt like I was having a sleepover with Laura Ingalls. Angela answered all of my questions before check in and made us feel at home with fresh ground coffee and milk. we will definitely be back.

Tori and her co-host were excellent. Felt like family. Super responsive and communicative when I arrived and didn’t know how to use the smart lock lol. She recommended great options for things to do in the area, so for us this was such a plus. (There was a cool winery close by). Overall just as we expected, and a very clean environment, and plenty of kitchen tools to make a meals. Definitely book this place if you just want some peace and quiet and explore nature.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin - we are two moms with two kids and spent three nights there. The place was great for us - the kitchen was very well stocked and had all the appliances and things we needed for cooking which is often not the case at other rentals so it was much appreciated. The gas fire pit / table was perfect for making s’mores and hanging out in the evening. Very peaceful and relaxed place to be. We did a great hike in the Sleepy Creek area calls Devil’s Nose and the kids had a lot of fun crossing the river and getting to the lookout. It took about 2.5 hours with lots of stops and a picnic lunch.

Family of 5 met( from many states- college etc..) to spend Christmas week in Dreamtime and to visit with extended family in the area! A few stand outs: hot tub, cleanliness, comfort, walk area, view, suite style bedrooms so everyone has their own space, fire burning stove inside and pit outside with supplied firewood!!! Seriously stocked with extras, responsive host who is kind, thoughtful and generous! We caught up around the fire pit, cooked holiday meals together, played games, walked the perimeter woods, soaked in hot tub and cherished the time. Place has all you need (space and supplies) to do so! Will Recommend to friends and return if able to travel back to area!! Thank You Ozlem!!!

We had a great time! It was only about an hour drive out to Harper’s ferry where we saw a lot of historical sites, went hiking, and saw cute little shops. At the cabin, there is so much to do and it’s the perfect place to go for a private getaway

The place was perfect tucked away in the woods with plenty of its own space. We absolutely loved it as we needed a place to recharge and get out of the norm for a few days. Everything was as explained and clean. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again

Joe's place is a haven for nature lovers. The log house has everything you could need. Beautifully furnished with extra attention to details. The grounds include a wooded area, a stream, a pond and some cattle pastures. Joe lighted the fire pit for us, which was awesome. A truely magical place.

One goal for our stay this fall was to get away from the world a bit, and the Pamela's comfortable log cabin down the woodsy road did the trick. Although there are other houses around (and I imagine it's a busy place in the summertime), at this time of the year it was quiet, with occasional birdsong and squirrels on the roof. The nights were chilly but we were snug in the main room with the heater on - the outer, all-weather room was another story, but we didn't use it much. The cabin is 10 minutes from the town of Carlisle, which offers places to eat and things to do. The scenery was lovely on our drive to Shippensburg and to Chambersburg.
