Fabulous flat and neighbourhood. Lovely cute private garden. Nice furnishings. Great amenities. Very warm always and log fire made it super cosy. Everything clean and clutterless. Very communicative host who made it all easy. Highly recommend staying here if it’s within your budget. It’s possibly on the slightly expensive side for a 2-person accommodation but if you’re going to be mainly home-based for your stay it’s probably worth it house and garden wise.

Our stay at Alison’s was absolutely fantastic, the location was incredibly central and there really wasn’t much noise considering where we were! The apartment was absolutely massive I don’t even feel like the pictures did it justice, we had so much space! Everything was spotless and the apartment had wee extras that we weren’t expecting such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

This was my second stay here and as before the accommodation was pristine. Easy to get to with parking. Arthur was a friendly host and offered recommendations on where we could go for day trips. A proper home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was beautiful and very clean with great beds, kitchen and bathrooms. It’s located in a peaceful, beautiful neighbourhood within walking distance to all amenities and city centre. Would totally recommend and stay there again! Thank you!

We had a great stay at Martin’s place, he was really helpful with information and suggestions of how to get around/where to eat/visit. The apartment has a lovely private garden - perfect for our morning coffee in the sunshine. It’s really well located for waking into town and lots of restaurants. Highly recommended and really appreciated the tea/coffee and Scottish shortbread.

The house looked stunning with Christmas themed treats for the kids and grown ups and the tree was gorgeous. It was wonderful to arrive to our Christmas holiday in such a well maintained, beautifully decorated warm and spotless house. The kitchen was very well equipped and loo cleaner, counter cleaner and various other basics were included which was great because the car was so full I didn’t have space for my self catering essentials bag that I usually have to travel with. If the area works for you I would highly recommend this house. A great play ground was a short walk from the house and Anne put out some lovely bits and pieces to keep the kids entertained; books, games and toys.

Very aesthetically decorated cozy cottage. Love to stay longer given a bit cheaper :-) Overall it was a very good experience.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A big thank you to the superhosts for your kindness, patience, and excellent communication in making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. 🙏🙏♥️

The house was beautiful, very spacious and extremely clean. The living area had lots of space with comfy sofas and footstools. There was a massive collection of dvds and books. The garden was peaceful, with garden furniture and a great view of the sea. We had 4 of us plus a baby which meant to bottom floor was ideal for the baby and mother and the rest of us were on the top floor. The view from the upstairs bedrooms were stunning. We walked the coast to the local villages and the village its self had great cafes and restaurants and an award winning chippy! We had the best stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you to the host for letting us stay, your house is beautiful.

This is let is worth a visit if you are a family or in a group. It's a peaceful location with off-road parking. We all had a room to ourselves and there are nice places to relax in the house. We were able to walk 5 minutes to the tram stop and be in Edinburgh centre in 20 minutes or so. You can make the best of Edinburgh when staying. Usman is very hospitable and will meet and show you round himself. He communicated well for us and was flexible with when we could check in. This proved very helpful on the day! I would recommend staying here, it's a nice place.

Nous avons passés deux jours chez Jamie et nous sommes très satisfaits. Ma fille de 6 ans était très contente de trouver des jouets dans la chambre d’enfants. Il y a un bus à proximité de la maison pour visiter Edimbourg. La maison est super et il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Très propre et sympa ! Merci Jamie

Very easy to find….and to get into the house.. The size of the downstairs was great for our party of eight. Unfortunately two single women and three couples didn’t go too well with the beds provided. The sofa bed in the double bedroom upstairs wasn’t used. But that was nobody’s fault and in the end we managed ok… We cooked the first night which worked well. We couldn’t find some things we needed evidently but Nadine was helpful.. There are plenty of ovens and microwave …..and washing machine which we didn’t need. TVs in lots of rooms.. Would’ve been better to have had a bigger table and the right number of chairs. Also more than eight of everything mugs, plates, bowls. Dishwater tablets were provided, t towels, towels - great. Wardrobe doors didn’t work in one bedroom…Having two bathrooms was good but because one bathroom is en suite upstairs meant most of us used the downstairs one so mopping up a lot. Easy to catch buses into the city.

My husband and I had a great stay at Tania’s. Tania met us on arrival and walked us through the information for the apartment. It’s a nice sized basement apartment, going down steps off the main road to a private entrance, with a full kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Tania provided all the basic essentials and even left us tea, milk, and some snacks to get us started which was much appreciated. The location is an 11 min walk from the Haymarket train stop, and all the buses and trams stop just around the corner so it’s an easy location to get to. For a city apartment it’s surprisingly nice and quiet, except for occasional noise from the street or neighbors, but nothing that was an issue. There is plenty to do within walking distance and many food options near by. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Natalie's apartment provides for such a relaxing stay in a tasteful, modern environment, within a beautiful, typical Edinburgh new town period property. Natalie was exceptionally helpful, when due to a car accident, I needed to change date of visit. Natalie's communication from pre-arrival to departure was exemplary. It is evident that Natalie and Craig earnestly strive to ensure their guests capitalise on all that Edinburgh has to offer and relax, very comfortably and restfully, after exploring the city. The extra little touches, including some Scottish refreshments were a very pleasant and much appreciated addition! Many thanks, Natalie and Craig. You will be my first choice for accomodation, when I'm next visiting Edinburgh.

The apartment was as advertised. The pictures were accurate great location. Only concern we had was construction started as we got there. It was unfortunate but beyond Samantha’s control

Thanks again for allowing us to stay Kate. The location was perfect. Quiet and safe street only a minute or 2 from fantastic restaurants. Walking distance to all the main tourist spots. The Apartment exceeded any expectations and was extremely spacious and pristine. The weather was particularly freezing on 1 of our days and it was great to walk the short distance back to a warm and inviting, comfortable apartment. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Catherine and Simon were excellent hosts. On hand when needed but allowed our privacy. The flat was spotless and was super well equipped, in fact Catherine provided so many extras for the price we paid. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and perfect location. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

A great apartment just right for our stay. It is a three minute walk to the tram stop. It is also around a twenty minute walk to Princes Street. The area had lots of coffee, pastry and convenience shops within just a few minutes walk. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. It felt homely and was plenty big enough for five adults and two children. The washer dryer was a big help during our stay. The kitchen, bathroom and utility area had everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner, washing liquid, coffee and tea etc. The roof terrace was very large and pleasant. The staircase up to the upper level bedroom and terrace was a bit rickety and my father who uses a stick found it a bit tricky, but manageable. There is also the option to use the stairs outside of the apartment in the hallway. We had a lovely stay and highly recommended the apartment.
