Local Kayak rentals available with in 5 minutes of cottage 10 minutes to Rusty Rail Restaurant. 55 minutes to Penn State, 20 minutes to Bucknell University, and 20 minutes to Susquehanna University. Lots of local hiking trails with beautiful scenery.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We are an up and coming campground in the making! All of the conveniences in the middle of the woods! We are located in the middle of state game land close to worlds end park where there is endless amounts of trails and creeks. It all depends on what you’re looking for hiking kayaking fishing hunting. It’s all right here and waiting. We are blessed with local restaurants and hang outs within a mile of the camp.

Pat's Place - Private Apartment off Rt. 220

Pat’s Place is a raised ranch with a private entrance and driveway parking, situated at the base of Bald Eagle Mountain in the quiet community of Castanea. You have access to hiking trails at the end of Nittany Road, kayaking on Bald Eagle Creek (½ mile away), or riding the Bald Eagle Valley Trail with access ½ mile away. Penn State University is just 45 minutes to the west; Williamsport and the Home of Little League Baseball is 30 minutes to the east.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This place sits on 18 acres with a terrific view!! We have a binoculars for your enjoyment to look at views and wildlife. Very quiet here. Swimming pool has a solar cover so if a night gets cooler the pool wil not lose any heat.
