Plus the place… believe me it’s waaaaay better than on pictures! Very privet away from anything, when you get in you don’t even want to get out anymore! Definitely will be back❤️ Thank You Kelly!!

Aaron's house was a cozy retreat. I stayed with my husband and our 4yo and 2yo and everyone was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinners on the screened in porch and on the patio and loved being able to see the woods from our bed.

We loved our stay here, the stars at night were my favorite part! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The place was spotless upon arrival and perfectly secluded without being far from town. We had 7 people and 3 large dogs and felt completely comfortable. The rain shower, heated toilet seats and hot tub really made it feel luxury while also being practical. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the group. All the details made this stay perfect. Starbucks kcups, charmin toilet paper, a gift upon arrival, the hot tub was clean and hot, extra soft blankets all through the house that were perfectly clean, nice washer and dryer with soap etc, Dyson vacuum and all the cleaning supplies you would need under the sink, batteries in the drawer, everything you could think of was already in this cabin. It was SO nice. We had no worries the entire trip. When we did need an extension cord for the outside flood light, Amy brought it over right away. We could not have been happier with this stay. Absolute 100/10 will be back again!!

This is a truly special cabin. A perfect escape from everyday life. The setting is magical, with an open meadow bordered by a mountain stream. We spent our time lounging on the deck in the hot tub while snow fell around us. The night sky is so clear and I haven't seen so many stars in ages. The cabin itself is rustic, clean, and charming. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot for a cozy trip in the mountains! We stayed dry and warm during an especially rainy/snowy weekend. The space was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We were even surprised with a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day and a collection of toys for our pup.

Great place! Quiet, peaceful, and a nice base camp for exploring the Roanoke area. We had a wonderful timw, and the host was quick to respond to questions (mainly asking about background of the cabin and area). No issues, wonderful place! Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cabin. The space was clean and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding property were beautiful. Sarah went out of her way to make us feel both welcome and at home. In fact, she left us breakfast supplies, including fresh eggs and homemade muffins! (She even left us supples to make s’mores!) The location was super convenient for us to visit the Virginia Safari Park and the Natural Bridge State Park as well.

The view from the porch is absolutely beautiful. We loved the covered porch so very much easy access to the highway. I would stay again and hope to.

What an absolute gem! Rebecca’s cabin had every single thing you could want or need for a stay. The decor was eccentric and fun! Every nook was stocked with games dvds records and cozy blankets. The backyard felt like a dream! We had so much fun exploring the creeks for rocks and the 2 minute walk to the river for a quick dip was perfection. 10/10 !!!

We spent two nights at the stargazer cabin. Right form the moment we pulled up in the driveway, we knew this would be a perfect spot for us. The cabin overlooks a stunning view of the valley. You are surrounded by sounds of nature and clean air. We spent most of our waking hours on the deck just soaking in the sun/breeze and the numerous bird songs. Culin and Danielle were very responsive and respectful in all our communications. The cabin is well appointed, very clean, and the bed is super comfortable for a peaceful night's sleep. Our 4 year old Aussie Pup loved to be away from the din of the city and get her fix of the sights/sounds/smells of the woods. We will be back to the stargazer cabin.

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Perfect in every way. The cabin had plenty of room and all we needed. The outside was exactly what I was looking for in a mini getaway. You can hear the creek inside the cabin. ❤️. The creek on the property was why I chose this and it was all I hoped it would be. The creek is where we spent most of our time, exploring , splashing and making mud pies. We ate dinner on the awesome porch (rocking chairs included) each night and had our coffee and tea in the morning. Alicia’s recommendations were on point (age appropriate) and about 10-15 miles away down the windy mountain road. ❤️. The fire pit added to our fun roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. Don’t forget to bring a hammock and water shoes or boots for the creek. Keep in mind I came with a 3 1/2 year old. The first thing she said was I want to stay here forever. Great spot. If I didn’t have the little one I would have done longer hikes and checked out the wineries. Overall a fantastic location, accommodations and price Thanks Alicia.

Pieter and Jenna's place was ideal for us after a day of hiking. Peaceful, quiet and close to the AT. Price was very reasonable in comparison to others and it was not a hotel. We just needed an overnight quiet place to sleep, make dinner and breakfast and back on the trail and then back home. Our goal was not to hang out, but it might have been nice to use or bring a Solo Stove Fire Pit. Their place was VERY clean, looked new, easy check in and check out. Not a big fridge or microwave but worked just fine for our needs. There is no door between the bathroom/laundry room and the bedroom, just small swinging saloon doors. Which is fine, as long as you understand that you don't have the kind of privacy you may be used to at home. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay and would come back again.

David's place is one of the nicest spots we've been to. The log cabin is gorgeous, feels private, and is so well designed and decorated. If we had stayed longer, I would have loved to use the reading nook with the lovely view of the stream at night. The bed, couches, and chairs were all very comfortable and we loved spending the morning relaxing, drinking tea, and listening to the creek from the porch. My husband and I would love to come back for longer and spend more time exploring the outdoor spaces. My husband would have definitely used the grill. We drove through Shenandoah the next day, which was beautiful.

We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

True southern hospitality, a beautiful, walkable property, and a clean, cozy cabin. I am already planning my next trip/stay. It is near lots of great hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, private stay in the woods. Thank you Jen & Kris for being such amazing hosts!

This spot is indeed worth all the five star ratings! If you are in need of a reprieve from the hustle of everyday living/work - this is a prefect place. Hidden down a gravel drive off a quiet country road, Erin and Matt's cabin is the epitome of rustic chic perfection! The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We were very glad we opted to bring all our food provisions vs depending on driving into Farmville, which is a good 25 minutes away. We did drive out to enjoy a long walk on the High Bridge Trail with our dog and then get a beer at Three Roads Brewery. The description that the water front is down a very steep pitch is no joke! We loved taking our dog down to the water but keep in mind it would be near impossible to carry anything down there (i.e. ice chest, chairs etc) if you were thinking of hanging out for any period of time. All in all - the peaceful getaway was just what we were looking for and would highly recommend as well as return in the future!

We loved our long weekend at Sentosa cabin!! The cabin was so cozy and welcoming. Everything was clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The deck and its views were amazing! If the weather had been just a little warmer, I probably wouldn’t have left the deck. It was the perfect place to rest and recharge. We were sad to go, but we will definitely be back!! Highly recommend Sarah and her cabin 😊

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The place was super dog friendly and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin was 20 minutes from Roanoke College, where we attended graduation weekend. Everything in the house was so well stocked! We enjoyed the using the grill for cooking, the fire pit for hanging out after dinner, and the large dining room table for playing games at night. Highly recommend!
