It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Richard's place was squeaky clean, loved the detail in there garden was perfect and Beutiful. There hospitality is very welcoming makes you feel right at home. Richard was precise in every detail we needed to know in every step of our 1st timers in Europe from purchasing the right adapters to use for curling iron and charging phones. Explained precisely how to get on the train and how to get out to get to him to drop off our luggage so we can catch the next train to London Victoria where his wife explained how to Enjoy The VE Day 80. May 5 2025. Not a Victory of a party or of any class. it's a Victory of The Great British Nation as a Whole. It was an Honor to have experienced this moment and watching the fly past was Epic. His wife sent us of with a lunch bag to the airport and got us there on time. Thanks again for a Memorable time in London.

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

Ons verblijf in dit Airbnb appartement was heerlijk. De sfeer was warm en gezellig; mijn kinderen voelden zich meteen thuis. De gastheer was bijzonder vriendelijk en nam uitgebreid de tijd om zijn kennis en liefde voor Londen en Engeland te delen. Overal waren kleine boekenhoekjes met uiteenlopende onderwerpen – voor de lezers onder ons een waar genot. Alles was keurig verzorgd en we hebben enorm genoten van deze ervaring. Zeer tevreden en absoluut een aanrader!

This visit was a return stay at Harriet’s place. Harriet is a warm and hospitable host who gave me some great suggestions about cafes, theatre and art exhibitions. Her home is in a convenient part of London. The train and buses close by. The room is cosy, with loads of sunshine, a lovely outlook to the garden and importantly - a comfortable bed. I recommend Harriet’s place and I look forward to another visit.

a really lovely place to stay with an especially friendly and interesting host- Sonja. Everything looked lovely and loved having own bathroom. Offered me tea and chat and recommended good pub for dinner. Comfy bed. alVery good breakfast with fresh fruit salad and warm croissant. Very good shower. No complaints at all and wd come back. Gorgeous garden.Very sweet village. Thank you ! xx

Super stay in comfortable spacious room. Leroy is a joy to chat with, he gave us lots of helpful suggestions: places to eat, visit and suggestions to get around. Definitely recommend!

Sally and Chris are the perfect hosts! They were very welcoming and also had very nice recommendations for us. When we said goodbye they had also a lovely chocolate for us :) We enjoyed our stay in the lovely room under the roof. We had everything we need (towels, hairdryer, EU adapter, hair straightener) and enjoyed the view into the wonderful garden. The location was very good to travel with the public transport opportunities (tube, bus) to all important spots in London. Kings Cross & St. Pancras International Station is also just six stops with Piccadilly Line away. We highly recommend this sweet accomodation for everyone who wants to visit London.

I stayed a few days in this place , and it was truly a wonderful experience. The host, a lovely lady, made sure everything was perfect during my stay. From the cleanliness of the place to the delicious breakfast she prepared each morning, everything was done with care and attention. Her warm and respectful behavior made me feel completely at home. One of the best parts was the location—the house was right next to a Tube station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

J'ai passé un très bon sejour chez Colin. La chambre est paisible et le lit très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai plus, et m'a permise de pratiquer mon anglais avec Colin ! Enfin, on trouve toutes sortes de petits commerces à proximité du logement, ce qui est très pratique. Je recommande !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melanie's place. Room and bathroom were well set up and comfortable. Breakfast was available downstairs in the kitchen - much appreciated. Melanie was helpful with suggestions for trains. The house is handily located near Brockley Station.

Hermosa estadía pasamos en este hermoso lugar. Súper cómodo, ubicación inmejorable, Phyllis super amigable y hermosa persona. Pasamos unos días geniales, con fiesta de fin de año incluida! Realmente es muy recomendable el lugar, cerca de todo, cómodo, moderno, privado. Volveríamos mil veces con mi marido!!!

Merci à Jane pour son accueil, sa réactivité et sa gentillesse. nous nous sommes trouvés bien chez elle, au calme après le tumulte de Londres. Le métro à 5 min à pied est un super moyen pour se déplacer rapidement au centre de la mégalopole.

Juanita and Katherine were absolutely lovely. Couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, and we loved the dogs, too. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood including a classic British Fish and Chips shop established in the 1800s, just a walk away. It's handy to the Picadilly Tube line, so Heathrow and Central London are equally accessible.

We absolutely loved our stay with John and Simone. They’re incredibly warm and welcoming hosts: friendly, bright, and full of positive energy. We genuinely couldn’t get enough of our conversations with them! Their home was perfect: clean, beautiful, and full of charm. And we adored their wonderful dog Viktor ❤️ The vegan breakfast was so delicious that I even wrote down a few recipes they kindly shared with me. All in all, we had an amazing time, truly exceptional hosts. 100/10!

I can’t say enough good things about Diana. She was a very warm and gracious host. She allowed me to drop my bags before checking and leave my bags after which was a big plus for me and to top that all off,. She made me a homemade breakfast which was delicious! It is an easy walk to the tube or the bus . There’s a beautiful park right down the way from her home . I felt very safe walking alone, as a solo traveler, this was perfect . If you want to feel like you’re at home,, Diana‘s place is for you. Thank you so much,, Diana, for opening your lovely home to me!

Zane is exceptionally pleasant lady and I felt very comfortable during my stay at her house. Recommend :)

We had a great stay at Tamila's home! The bed was super comfortable and it was really lovely to read a book in the garden while drinking the high quality tea and coffee available. Over time we also learned that there are multiple "shortcuts" to arrive at the place (on foot), such that we could easily reach different parts of the town away from the main road. The apartment is just like described - no surprises there. Everything is clean, and the breakfast provided had high quality products and fruit. Tamila has been helpful and flexible, we arrived a bit earlier than scheduled yet it was no problem for letting us checking in earlier. Highly recommend!

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

Trish and her daughter were incredibly kind and there is a lot of love in the rooms they provide. Every detail thought of. It was a perfect place to stay as a single woman. The bus to the airport from the top of the road was super helpful with Ubers being so pricey! Would stay again. And very much appreciate the care and love put in! Thank you Trish!

Brilliant place to stay, really easy to find with added bonus of off road parking. Sue and Angela were great hosts and very welcoming. Excellent communication and after arriving earlier than planned Sue made herself available straight away to help sort us out which was really appreciated. Superb facilities with large bedroom and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect for setting us up for the day. Spent two days in central London and found it very easy to walk to either Balham or Tooting Bec tube giving us speedy access to a variety of locations. Highly recommend staying here, Sue and Angela were very supportive not only with their local knowledge but also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We very much hope to go back if available on our next trip to London.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Merveilleux séjour chez Hazel. Sa maison est charmante et décorée avec soin, le quartier est très agréable, calme, de bonnes adresses alentour et pratique pour rejoindre le centre de Londres. Hazel nous a accueillis chaleureusement et avec beaucoup de simplicité, nous donnant des indications très utiles dans le quartier ou dans Londres. Un grand merci à elle et à sa famille !

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
