Explore Harry Potter's London Tour
Join me as we venture into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! On this walking tour of London's streets we will watch clips from the movies while I regale you with behind-the-scenes stories of those locations and how they were used in the film series. Our first stop will be the entrance to Diagon Alley, before we pop down to see the Ministry of Magic, and find out which Leaky Cauldron has the best tacos, as well as others I don't want to spoil here. I will also share some of the strangest, funniest non-HP facts I've learned about London along the way. We will finish at Borough Market, London's top street food destination, with King's Cross just a separate Tube ride away. PLEASE be aware the tour is offered in English only, and it is largely story-based, so a better-than-basic conversational grasp of English is essential. While witches and wizards of all ages are welcome, due to the amount of walking and the content, I more recommend it for ages 11+. Strictly one person per slot. No exceptions. Step-free route for wheelchairs available This London street walking tour is not affiliated with the WB Studio Tour at Watford. Other things to note Every person (over 11yo) will need an Oyster card or contactless payment method with at least £2.40. The tour contains about 90 minutes of brisk walking so make sure little legs are up for that!
Pub Tour of Notting Hill & Kensington
We’ll take a guided tour of the most interesting and characterful pubs in London's Notting Hill and Kensington. We’ll venture away from the tourist routes and explore the backstreets, where the local people drink. These are the same pubs that I still enjoy visiting with my friends and they are well known for their fine beers and good food. We’ll sample the wide variety of wonderful, British, traditional, full-flavoured cask ales (the original craft beers) and modern craft beers that are on offer and experience the friendly atmosphere of these unique establishments. NB. Other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will also be available. Marvel at the immaculately maintained Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture of these charming neighbourhoods. Spot the numerous blue plaques, identifying the one-time residences of persons of historical interest, such as the detective novelist and playwright, Agatha Christie and American poet, Ezra Pound, and see the home where the triple-Oscar-winning actor, Daniel Day-Lewis, was born. Savour the abundant varieties of plants and trees, as well as the wonderful architectural diversity of the local churches, as we walk between pubs, in what are arguably the most stunningly beautiful neighbourhoods of inner London. This is a highly social experience, so bring a SENSE OF HUMOUR and an OPEN, FRIENDLY AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Other things to note FROM £25 PER PERSON. The ability to speak English fluently, will maximise your enjoyment of this tour. Charge your phone!

The art of Indian homecooking
Don’t let COVID-19 stop you from travelling to India. Find it right here in my little home in London. So far, I have hosted over 500 guests from all around the world (over 25 countries). I have celebrated birthdays with them, shared beautiful conversations and unforgettable moments with them. It will be a small group, so we will all do the cooking together, like a bunch of friends in an Indian kitchen! INTRODUCTION TO SPICES We will learn about ‘Garam Masala’. And no, it’s not just “curry powder”. It’s the basis of understanding individual spices. I will teach you how to blend them to *your* taste. We will create a blend together! INTRODUCTION TO CURRY A basic (yet full of flavour) curry lesson, and here I will teach you how this basic recipe can turn from a healthy weekday meal into a weekend feast. MAGIC OF THE INDIAN KITCHEN We will learn about making homemade things like yoghurt, or paneer, or ghee (it’s much better/cheaper than buying it off the shelf AND IT IS MAGIC). I will also show you a magic trick of how to make amazing rice. THE FEAST We will feast on what we cook! YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE A HANDOUT OF THE DAY’S LESSONS. No time for note-taking, as you’ll be busy cooking, tasting, eating and talking! Remember, this is all about learning that we Indians do eat Indian food regularly, so it’s obviously not as complicated as you think it is.
