This was my 2nd time staying here and will always be my go to AirBnB in Ireland. I travel to Ireland for work and could stay anywhere but I don’t even look now. I guess this isn’t as much a review as a recommendation. You’re about a mile to the town center and shopping (and it’s a beautiful walk). I stopped counting at 10 good mornings from the locals on my walk to the office. There are two amazing takeaways less than 100 yards from the house and an amazing sit down restaurant that’s maybe 400 yards away, The Black Bull. We had easy access to Dublin without paying Dublin prices and we were able to return to the quiet neighborhood where this house is located. Then soak those sore legs in the hugs tub! It’s also a short drive to the coast from Drogheda. The house is spotless and you just feel so at home. Lorna is an amazing host who always goes out of her way to make the stay is everything I need it to be. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Shauna met me on arrival, and showed me around. The property was spotless, the bedroom was bigger than I expected. it was very modern, but really cosy. The location is beautiful with amazing views. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The location was perfect — peaceful and private, yet close enough to explore all the best attractions in the area. I especially loved the cozy touches and the attention to detail that made the place feel like a true home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a longer retreat, this Airbnb is everything you want and more. I’ll definitely be back.

Clean apartment Fantastic host we had a few issues and he came out within 20 minutes very helpful. For us personally, it would’ve been nice to have a full length mirror and maybe some number of taxi or food menus or a bus route timetable. No wi-Fi, which was a bit of a problem if you don’t have unlimited data. If you’re there at the weekend be aware the spirit store is noisy over the weekend. Bye for all we had a very comfortable few days very homely.

Thanks for letting us stay Rob, and lovely to meet you, we will be back, hopefully in March aswell, but definitely next fall. So peaceful in the woods, and the stars were amazing, we even saw a young badger on the track, looking forward to returning soon, Tom and P

Aine was a great host, very friendly and attentive and always quick in responding helpfully. We really enjoyed the stay in the accommodation and could relax during the stay. The accommodation was spacious, clean and has a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom adjacent to each of the bedrooms. Highly to be recommended and we consider coming back again!

Fantastic stay, great host & great property. Booked last minute after having an horrific stay near by! Sharon was a great communicator & went over & above in ensuring sofa beds were not only usable but actually all made into beds. Beautiful clean property & the balconies looking out onto the mountains an added bonus. Would recommend & stay again :)

Lovely apartment below the hosts property in a small picturesque village near Dundalk - with access to a garden area with a stream at seating The property was walking distance from a post office and pub The property was comfortable and well maintained The apartment had two bedrooms and three bathrooms - one of which would be suitable for those with reduced mobility The host was warm and welcoming

Spotlessly clean, new and comfortable accommodation in grounds of proprietors bar/restaurant, Carranstown Lodge. We were very well entertained in the pub where we met Simon, his Dad and friendly locals. We even had a sing song! A good place to stay if visiting Newgrange/Brú na Bóinne, a short 10 min drive. We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The host Jamie was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

Noeleen's Airbnb was our home for about two months and we definitely couldn't choose a better place. She was always helpful, willing to assist us in any matter. The Airbnb was clean, with everything you needed for your stay. The bed was really comfy, the sofas and the living and kitchen area were perfect. We felt really comfortable those two months and we thank Noeleen for having us in her Airbnb, specially with our cat Venom. We struggled a lot trying to find pet friendly accommodation and Noeleen was our life saver. One thing that I would personally comment on is that the bathroom has less ventilation than I would have wanted, and that leads to a moist bathroom. Maybe I would recommend a stronger air extractor and a more frequent sanitation to avoid moist or stains. But it is a personal thing and it did not affect our stay. Thanks a mil Noeleen!

It has been an authentic pleasure to contact to Roisin again. Roisin and Jamie are very attentive and one day we receive some gorgeous scones, it was so nice, we were surprised !! Thanks for everything !!

Olga was very friendly on arrival. Her accommodation was spotless with lots of very nice small touches from the essentials for breakfast to lovely sweet treats. My mum and I really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Olga as a host and the accommodation also.

Large, spacious place that had ample room for our group of four. 5 minute walk to the train station and as well as the local shopping center which had a delicious breakfast cafe. Very convenient for those looking to spend time in Dublin while staying in a quieter area. Donal was very responsive to questions and provided great local recommendations.

Wonderful hosts - very thoughtful. Everything was clean and provisions were a lovely touch. Excellent value.

We really loved our stay at Janet's place. Janet was very welcoming and a wonderful host. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. The property is stunning, cosy, beautiful decorated. The place ticked all the boxes to make sure our stay was pleasurable. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were lots of goodies in the fridge, freezer and cupboard. It was well appreciated. The off street parking is also a bonus. Lots of little touches that made our stay perfect We would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful surroundings for walks through the gardens, ideal for kids to see the horses and alpacas. very quiet as only a few cottages on site and very close drive to town. beds were comfortable, house was spotless and shower was very good. would definitely stay here again.
