The River Cabin is a rustic log home, completely private and dating from the 1930s. The property includes 600 feet of frontage on the Greenbrier River as well as 140+ acres of woods, wildlife and natural beauty. The cabin itself has been updated for a bath and kitchen. The 30' long screened porch overlooking the Greenbrier River is beautiful any time of the year. Once you check in, you'll have the place all to yourself until it's time to leave. In the past our Cellar House was home to canned garden vegetables, potatoes, and apples. Today up to 2 guests can enjoy their relaxing farm visit in the newly renovated yet rustic upper room. Hiking on property, campfire area, fishing in our Spring Fed Pond. Located near Elk River State Park for a day of Biking, river swimming, & Kayaking. Drive the back road to New River National Park for an adventure. This room is set up for a short visit or a long stay. Hot homemade fresh breakfast incl!

There’s also Tu Endie Wei State Park and a river walk with hand painted murals along the flood wall. A PERFECT place for a Mothman enthusiast!!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway: The River Cabin has a large, covered porch overlooking Millcreek and exclusive access to a dock, fire-ring area, and deck with table, chairs and umbrella. It sleeps five (2 full size, 1 twin). Includes a fully stocked kitchen, a full bathroom, and linens. The dock sits right on Millcreek, and is a lovely place to relax and fish. Up to 2 pets allowed for a fee. Additional $5 daily charge the 5th guest.
