Fantastic location across the road from the lake. The house is set out great for extended families/friends with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and items left in the pantry are handy if you forget something, there are also plenty of games and dvd's for the kids, although we didn't use these as the weather was perfect for lake activities. Communication with host is fantastic, Anthony was very responsive. The house could do with a deep clean (window sills, skirtings etc) but we were more than comfortable and would consider staying again. Thank you Anthony.

Probably one of the best air bnb’s I have stayed in. The house is fantastic with great appliances, TV’s, showers etc and lovely bedrooms. Only complain is the master bed is a touch soft for my liking! The outside area is perfect and the pool so lovely. I could not fault this place. The pictures do not do it justice!! Thanks for having us, would love to come again.

How’s the serenity? Says it all. Not only an Aussie icon movie, the house lives up to it. The Doon has been a favourite destination for decades and the Castle has been a part of it. The lake is always spectacular whether it be sunrise or sunset, on a wooden deck, with a beer, some music. Absolute perfection !! The Doon Hotel will always be a favourite!! Thank you. Suffer in your jocks! We’ll be back!!

We had a terrific weekend at Villa Costa Lotta. The wonderfully designed and thoughtfully appointed house sits on a large block with lots of spots to relax and unwind. Great communication, lots of thoughtful and useful touches. Couldn’t recommend more.

Great place to stay if you love the lake. We had a JetSki that you could moor and leave at the water with a gazebo. Short JetSki to Jews if you needed the shop. Not far to Mansfield for supplies. Lake at 80% so the water pretty high at the time. Extremely clean and great room set up for individual families to have privacy when needed. Great hosts. Thanks for the stay.

Beautiful house and landscaped gardens, surrounded by farm and grazing cattle. The house inside is very stylish and comfortable with thoughtful pieces of art and furniture, the kitchen well equipped and spacious, perfect for hosting a group. The beds are really comfortable and plenty of space to unpack belongings, including a walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. The location of the property is close to Alexandra, which is a town which seems to have everything you need plus good coffee shops. I’d definitely recommend this place to others coming to the area.

Our stay at Goughs Bay was the most peacful and calm experience close to nature and beautiful landscape of the mountains and lake Elidon. The property is beautifully maintained and Stefanie was an amazing host, very prompt in her response each time we contacted her. The native birds visiting the balcony each morning and the breathtaking view of the lake and mountains was a treat to eyes and soul. Goughs Bay is a beautiful little town near Mansfield with quiet and friendly neighuboorhoud. A perfect gateway close to nature with family and friends!!

Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. We had such a lovely time at Marty’s Airbnb. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up—every detail made us feel right at home. Meeting Marty was an absolute pleasure; he’s warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for his guests. We couldn’t recommend it any more highly. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnbs in multiple countries, and this one has topped them all. A true gem of a place—we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about coming back!

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

It is an amazing cabin in a peaceful and calm farm. We love how peaceful and calm it is as this is surrounded by a sheep farm with a river just next to the cabin. The cabin is brand new built and thoughtful designed setup and furnitures. This little place is basically a paradises inspiring my dream for my retirement.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Strathbogie. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The surrounding environment was peaceful and incredibly beautiful. perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed our time there and had a lot of fun.
