Five-minute drive to the Wharf or Blue Waters beaches. Please note that it's not possible to walk to the beach you see from the front deck - there's a lot of scrub and a tidal river in the way!

Beach front bach on Wainui Beach. Fantastic views whatever the weather, stunning surf beach, the bach overlooks it all. Wow factor sun rises, keep the curtains open and have a treat! The cottage has a queen bed in an annex in the main area so you can wake up to the view, or watch the waves at night under the moon. There are bunks in the bedroom, a heat pump for toastie winters, this place is a rustic humble piece of kiwiana beachlife, a total rejuvination space and a surfers heaven.

Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.
