My stay at Margaret's place was excellent. Checking in was a breeze and the place was just as described and easy to find. The home is in a neat, secure and quiet neighborhood. Electricity was always available from both Zesa and solar, as was superfast wifi and DSTV with all the great channels. Also available was a washer and dryer for use when Zesa was available. Above all, Margaret and her team were awesome. They were friendly, helpful and very responsive and promptly took care of any issues in a timely manner. I highly recommend the place and will definitely stay there again on future trips.

We had a fantastic stay at Pauline’s place. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for me and my family. One of the highlights was the uninterrupted electricity supply, thanks to the reliable solar backup, which ensured we had power at all times. Additionally, the borehole water supply was a huge plus, especially in an area that typically faces water shortages. Pauline was very responsive and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met promptly. The internet connection was impressively fast, allowing us to work from home seamlessly without any glitches. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay, and we would definitely book again whenever we are in Zimbabwe. Highly recommended!

Tayedza was so accommodating. We had a big party from Kenya that had traveled to Zim for a wedding and she was more than accommodating. Definitely recommend her place, it was clean, and she was responsive to any questions we had. Her dog Lucius was an added bonus to our trip, he was playful and friendly. The back up solar was a plus as well.

The house is huge, with bedrooms upstairs, if you need lots of space this is for you, nice huge staircase, Felicity was quick to respond to my requests, check in was easy, no one bothered us, the hosts didn’t fuss me about check out time I had access to 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms including ensuite. Great furniture inside, security wasn’t an issue when i was there, this place is a hidden gem. The property is so big, the house at the back feels like neighbours. No interaction with them. You feel like you are by yourself. Wifi ran out and Felicity topped it up for me as I didn’t know how. Will definitely come back.

Here’s a glowing review for Gracious: Our stay at the Westside Retreat was truly a home away from home! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Gracious was incredibly responsive and so patient with all of our questions, which made the entire experience smooth and stress free. The location couldn’t have been better, it was perfect for us to move around with ease. Two features we especially appreciated were the complimentary WiFi and the overall security of the home. We had a great experience at Mzime’s place, we felt at home. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, it looks way better in person than the pictures. The place is very specious and comfortable which is what our family needed. It is clean and well maintained inside and outside. The beds were very comfortable and very clean, Mzime and her team went above and beyond to help us surprise our families who didn’t know we were coming. The memories that we made at Mzime’s place will stay with us for the rest of our lives and for that, we are very grateful! Uncle Ncube was very helpful and responded to our questions and needs very fast. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Chinhoyi. A hidden gem. The pictures on the site do not do this place justice. Very impressive cottage! The location is perfect if you want the convenience of a well equipped shopping mall (Westgate) and being out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Nancy has excellent hosting skills and made me feel at home. The property itself sits in a beautiful landscaped garden and has good security. I was so impressed I will make this my home away from home. I highly recommend Nancy's Rez. What a gem! Thank you Nancy for making this trip extra special.
