Amazing stay is a pure understatement ! Everything was perfect. Kate & David Responded very quickly. There was nothing that we could possibly need besides an additional night to book. Kitchen was full of essentials. Well equipped and comfortable, spotlessly clean. The view was spectacular! Our absolute favorite amenity is the steam shower. We’re most definitely looking forward to booking with Kate again. This is our most favorite stay to say the least.

We had a great time staying here for our girls weekend trip. 8 of us were very comfortable here. We loved the hot tub and the walkability to the beach. The gift card to a local restaurant was an awesome and appreciated touch! Thank you Michelle for allowing us to use your space!

Everything was well organized, clean, and peaceful. There was a good amount of information on the amenities provided and Hannah provided quick responses on any questions we had. There was also a helpful binder containing information on local spots like state parks, restaurants, and wineries. The hot tub and the large outdoor area was very nice! Everybody and the pups had fun!

Hot tub was nice and spacious, house was not as close to the lake as pictures may make it seem. Location feels nice and secluded.

We booked last minute to be close to my daughter’s graduation ceremony. Everything was as expected and had great communication from Joshua that left no questions. The setting was perfect and the kids loved the place. We want to come back and stay longer next time.

Kelly was a wonderful host! She was excellent at communication, very friendly, flexible with our check-out time, and made our stay so warm and welcoming. The hot tub overlooking the lake was so fun and a beautiful setting. I wish we had more time there so we could have taken the kayaks out or enjoyed a bonfire! We'll have to come back another time. :) The house is only a 15-min drive from Pentwater and Mears State Park, so it's perfect for shopping, finding restaurants, and hiking. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and the house was very clean. The owner went above and beyond when I mentioned I couldn't find charcoal for the grill. They surprised us by dropping it off that day. What caring hosts! I was very impressed! They also had PLENTY of supplies for us (toilet paper, paper plates, detergent, hand soap, kleenex...etc) This isn't always the case with rental properties. My kids and I enjoyed the welcome snacks. They were fun surprises. The only thing I would mention is the shower is very small (as described in the property). I had a tough time shaving and brushing my hair in there. There is also no disposal or dishwasher. These were not listed in the amenities so this is no fault of the owner. It's just something I didn't think to look for in the property description. I will know to watch for it in the future.

The interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for exploring the area, the Cozy Cottage is an excellent choice. I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

Great location within a few minutes walk of the beach. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the waves. Cottage had a great layout and everything we needed for a long beach weekend. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! My future brother-in-law propose on the dock! First time traveling with a baby, so having a pack and play at the Airbnb was one less thing to pack! The “baby” gates around the porch were perfect for our dogs! They got to hangout and play outside without any worries of them wondering off. A fully stocked kitchen and grill were great! Loved using the kayaks as well! The trek down and back from the water is a little intense and I workout almost every day, so future guests should keep that in mind. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved this quaint cabin! It’s off the beaten path and feels very secluded, yet it’s close to everything! The stairs to the beach are worth the trip if you’re physically able. The heaters work well to keep you warm at night. And the fireplace is fabulous! Comfy, cozy, clean and beautiful views! Thanks for having us!

This cottage was perfect for a couple adults, two kids and our dog. Super cute, clean, had great amenities. Perfect location for accessing the marina. Kevin was extremely friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at Romain’s place in Spring Lake for a few nights in November. This location was perfect for us. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Quiet streets that are great for dog walks! The cottage was well designed, super comfortable, and warm and cozy during some snow storms that came through. It was really nice sitting in the cottage and watching the snow fall with the view of the lake in the background. Romain was helpful and responsive. There is a grocery store, few restaurants and a bakery 4 minutes away. The cottage is also a short walk to a small public beach on Spring Lake. This area was cozy during winter months and I’m sure would be fun and lively during summer months. There is a big back yard. WiFi was good. I would recommend this place!

"An Absolute Lakeside Gem!" Blue Haven was everything we hoped for and more! The beach-themed interior was impeccably clean and cozy, with plenty of blankets and linens to keep us comfortable. The large, unobstructed windows gave us a stunning panoramic view of Lake Michigan, making every moment feel like a scenic postcard. The patio was generous in size, equipped with comfortable furniture and even a charming two-seater swing, perfect for unwinding with a good book or simply soaking in the view. This spot was ideal for relaxing, watching breathtaking sunsets, and stargazing into the night. Blue Haven is truly a gem on the shore of Lake Michigan, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite place for a get away/retreat. The lake view is spectacular. It's great for walking, swimming and biking. There's no light pollution so you can see the constellations after dark. The 3 level house is spacious, but cozy; a wonderful place for a family with kids and grandparents. Instructions and expectations are completely clear, and Loretta and Zach respond quickly to questions. It's a pleasure to work with them and enjoy the beautiful setting of their lovely lake home.

We enjoyed our peaceful and cozy stay at the cabin and loved the decor. Had many deer visits, the stars were very visible while at the firepit. Dianna & Rob were responsive and proactive by letting us know of local activities in the area. which made our visit much more memorable.

Stayed here for a month while I had some work done on my house. Small but comfortable, and had everything I needed. Internet can slow down sometimes, but there's 5g cell service in the area. Nice neighborhood for walking the dogs, close to trails and national forest, and downtown area is super cute. Host was very responsive and helpful when I had questions. I'd definitely stay again!

Lynn was an amazing host. I had told her I was in the area for a baseball tournament when I booked the stay. When I arrived there was a personal note on a white board wishing us luck this weekend. Extremely beautiful home with a spectacular view. I brought my fishing kayak and fished both Friday and Saturday evenings. Relaxed and caught a few fish as well. Overall, I couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Loved it. Hopefully I will be back out there again but in the summer to enjoy the lake even more. Thanks Lynn! ☀️🐟🏡

Our stay was great! Everything was clean and ready for us. The space was good, enough for all of us (7 of us) The outside was beautiful, awesome fire pit, and games to play. John was easy to communicate with and available when needed. A good stay all around.

We had a wonderful stay here! The instructions that were provided for check in, check out, how to arrive there everything was just helpful. The location was perfect! It was peaceful and private. We loved the cottage and can’t wait to go back! All the little touches in this cabin were perfect. Book this place..trust me you will not regret it!!

This cabin is absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is relaxing. The lake is small and not as busy as Big Star Lake. The view out the back window in the morning almost feels like you have the whole lake to yourself. Everything was provided for. There was an abundance of firewood for the pit. We didn't get to enjoy as much as we wished but it is extremely comfortable. The location is conveniently between a major grocery store and a small convenience store. Off the road, but not on the twisty, bumpy trails common of the area. Finally, the value is outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

Great spot, just as advertised and the location was amazing. Adam’s instructions were detailed and spot on. We’ll be back next summer.
