Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. I cannot say enough about this home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, this is the place for you. Hosts were extremely helpful & very quick to respond. We got lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the lake but, stargazing in the jacuzzi at night was a perfect touch. We seriously loved every bit of this home and would love to return one day!! We had a very nice stay, the house is like the pictures and everything is clean and neat. Jolanta is a great host very friendly and helped us with everything.

We had a great stay over President's Day weekend and I highly recommend staying here. It had all of the things we were looking for - hot tub, fireplace (wood stove which was even nicer for all the heat it gave off), sauna (amazing), and a fully stocked kitchen. The place is nicely redone with 4 cozy bedrooms (especially the two upstairs). We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Simon left us detailed instructions and we had no issues in finding it and settling in. As the weather took a turn for the worse, we spent most of a day cozy in the house. Our dogs were also very comfortable and loved the large backyard. The house decor is very tastefully done, and not only looks great but looks like special effort has been taken to make everything comfortable and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your home!!

We planned a short Easter break vacation to the Poconos, and this was an excellent choice for a stay. Beautiful, clean home with lots of space and tons to do without ever leaving the house. The option to add on the amenities from the community was a nice touch. The kids didn’t want to leave! Baruch was absolutely incredible - probably the most rapid response time of any host we’ve had. We loved it here.

We absolutely loved our stay! Giancarlo and Francesca were responsive and attentive hosts. We initially misunderstood the check-out time, thinking it was 11:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM. Once we realized our mistake, we asked if we could extend our check-out to 11:30 AM, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Although it may seem like a small gesture, it made a huge difference for us. Thank you for being our host. I highly recommend booking this cozy home!
