Chalets in Mexico

This place is dreamy, a rustic getaway yet comfortable. We visited during a storm, we didn’t loose power and we were warm despite being 38F/3-4 C• which was crazy. We did bring extra blankets and that was helpful because it was 7 of us and my mom didn’t feel comfortable having the fireplace on through the night but if that’s not your case you should be totally fine. My mom was happy and she’s never usually happy with things, it was the perfect getaway for us. The restaurants are nearby, local attractions are nearby, the space had plenty of room for the kids - it was great and I’m grateful we visited. We hope we can come back again during the summer to be able to stargaze more. Also shout out to Juana María who was always ready to help when we had questions and to Rosa who answered all my questions.

Estuvimos muy contentos en nuestra estancia, la comunicación con Marisol fue muy ágil y la persona que apoya en casa súper amable . Su casa tal cual las fotos , está en el centro llegas caminando , súper recomendada para familias . El jardín está muy lindo y la chimenea un plus.

Comodo, alejado del ruido de la ciudad, de fácil acceso.

Este alojamiento superó mis expectativas. Es como una cabaña con un jardín privado hermoso. El las mañanas no hay ruido mas que los pájaros y gallos. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar una corta o una larga estadía. Pase mas de una semana y me sentí muy cómoda. Mi perrita disfruto del lugar al máximo. Cerca hay algunos abarrotes y restaurantes para cuando no quieras ir al centro o incluso llegan empresas a domicilio com walmart, etc. Rianne es una excelente anfitriona, fue muy amable y siempre estuvo atenta. Tuve que llegar de madrugada por temas del vuelo y dejaron todo preparado para que pudiese entrar sin problemas. Ademas te surten de recomendaciones locales para comer y hacer. Los unicos pro del lugar es que se encuentra a una distancia de unos 30 minutos caminando o 8 en carro del centro de San Cristóbal, pero eso no es problema si buscas algo con estas características. El baño esta fuera de la cabaña y es posible que en las noches sea tedioso. Aun asi volveria!!

Aida, súper amable, muy atenta, ella y su esposo Francisco buenísimos anfitriones lo recomendamos 100% todo coincide y mucho mejor que en las fotos. Sin duda volveremos a quedarnos ahí.

Excelente atención del Sr. Alejandro... siempre al pendiente de lo q necesitábamos muy servicial y amable.. la cabaña muy linda.. limpia y ordenada...con vistas muy bonitas. Gracias!!!

we loved Pavlina's place and her hospitality. We would highly recommend it. it's great place to be away from the tourist crowds, to disconnect and to enjoy the jungle. It is also only a short drive to visit Tulum, coba and Muyil; a car is a must.

Catemaco, Dos Amates, Reserva Natural Nanciyaga... Todo cerca, una experiencia única. Nos tocó llegar haciéndole frente a un Norte bastante fuerte que estaba pegando, eso resultó en lloviznas más los humedales, lluvia, pérdida de energía eléctrica; nunca perdió su encanto... puedes decidir quedarte sencillamente ahí, cocinar, comer rico en la terraza y tú patio selva y arroyo con cascada particular sin problema, especial noches románticas, caminatas de espíritu aventurero con un toque de misticidad ... o puedes salir a unos cuantos minutos comunicados por medio de taxi o mototaxi buenos precios y gente honesta y probar todas las delicias de los alrededores...hacer los viajes de lancha a los manglares ...ir a Nanciyaga y conocer un poco más de la cultura ... todo es increíble ahí ... más Enamorada de estás raíces y tierra de mi esposo, más conectada conmigo misma, con mis hijos, con todo lo que me rodea, recomiendo

Our stay was great, Maria was always responding to my requests since the moment we reserved until we checked out, we left a few items behind, and Fernando notified us right away, we will definitely come back!

Es la segunda vez que visitamos esta cabaña y nos encanta por su ubicación, acceso, instalaciones y por que está hermosa! Si tuviera que ponerle un pero, sería el horario del check out, ya que comparado con la mayoría de otras propiedades, nos pareció muy temprano a las 10:00am, sin embargo volveríamos de nuevo sin duda!

The place is perfect for a family vacation and Nuria is a great host.

Pablo is a truly excellent and communicative host. The home, the nature and all the people in this area are very special. The energy is sweet, beautiful and kind. A couple of considerations- make sure to bring bug spray as mosquitos are very prominent in the area. Spanish language is a must as there are very few English speakers. Cell service is unreliable while traveling through villages but works well at the house itself though I struggled with Verizon in my personal phone, T mobile worked best on my work phone. When traveling, be prepared for full cultural immersion, that is the beauty of this place so celebrate it and come with an open heart and a healthy sense of curiosity and kindness.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is beautiful and well located just 1-1/2 blocks from beach and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants on 5th Av. Patricio communicated well and was very responsive to our needs. Thanks, Patricio.

Magical place - enjoyed the landscape and sweet off-grid time. The hosts were respectful, welcoming and responsive.

This little Hut Is a dream!!! Waking up to the view of dolphins, whales and whale sharks. I could lay there in the king size comfy bed all day looking at the ocean. The paddle board and kayaks for us to use are great. I just love being in the middle of nowhere in a desert cactus forest!! Jean was so helpful and welcoming! I will definitely be back !!! The dogs are a huge plus!! My little Amigos ♥️

We had a great stay with family and friends at this beach house. My grandson lived in the pool! Lots of fun.
