Lovely cottage near our son. We know the Bay Horse well and like it very much.

First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Its a beautiful house. Host was so very friendly and helpful. House is spotless , clean and well decorated. Everything was just perfect and we felt like a home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lancaster. We could easily walk into the town centre in a few minutes and it was close to the station for our friends travelling by train. The house was very comfortable and roomy. Tom the host was very responsive to our queries. The area was quite and although there was no designated parking, we found it easy to park on the street and were provided with permits. It was a great base for us to attend a friend's party and explore the local area. Compared to staying in a B&B or hotel it was great value and gave us our own space to relax.

Lovely cottage with gorgeous (dog friendly, secure) garden in a peaceful area. Cottage was extremely clean and the kitchen, whilst we didn’t cook, looked well catered for. Lovely dog friendly pub a few minutes walk away, which was very welcoming and lovely food. We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area.

This house was in a great location for walking to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in Morpeth. It was also close to beaches and beautiful countryside. The property was very clean and tidy with its own garden and private parking which was ideal for our stay.

Martins Farmhouse is a lovely, spacious house, furnished to a high standard and extremely well appointed. The location is very private and peaceful. We had a great few days with all our family - plenty space for adults, children, baby and dog. Would happily reccommend staying here.

Perfect location for access to everything in town as well as for biking and hiking. Super cool accommodations in a converted 300 year old barn. Don’t let that fool you as the amenities are all up to date. Finally a wood burning stove to boot for a cozy evening. Robin is a great host and source for local happenings and hikes up the fells.

Excellent place to stay. Walking distance into Ambleside town and lovely restaurants. The Airbnb was lovely, clean and quite spacious for the 2 of us.

This is the second time I have stayed at the studio. It is a lovely little place, compact but with everything you need in a very beautiful and convenient spot. Carol and Margaret are very helpful and friendly it is always a pleasure to stay in their beautiful flat. Thank you for being so welcoming and accomodating.

Janet's place was the perfect cosy getaway for hiking the three peaks. Easily accessible from Settle station and the high street, the accommodation felt just like a home away from home. Would love to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay. The house was super clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.
