We came for the long weekend (15 of us) and had a blast. We loved the surrounding areas and went for a long walk, the trees, the views , the colours 💕💕💕. The had clear instructions and sticky notes everywhere and there was no confusion. We stayed up for the campfire late, used the hot tub, grilled our meat, and had the time of our lives. Even though we just stayed for one night it felt really long. We are grateful for Todd and Karen and their amazing place with beautiful interior details. Will recommend this place.

The cottage was clean and cozy and we had a lovely stay! Katrina was accommodating and friendly! I would highly recommend staying here, it has a lot to offer! A fenced in front yard was a bonus for our dog, the hot tub was a luxury and the wood burning fireplace added a special ambiance. It is peaceful being surrounded by trees and a conservation area and felt very private. The short walk to the lakefront was enjoyable. We definitely had a fabulous and relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!!

This historic log cabin is a jewel. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Plenty of living g space inside for fun gatherings. Dog friendly allowed for 6 of us and 2 dogs to have a fabulous Bruce Trail hiking weekend. The hot tub to soak tired muscles was a major bonus. Jacqueline and Shane were super responsive, patient and helpful.

My family had an amazing stay at Jennifer's cabin! We came for a ski weekend with our 2 young kids and our dog. It was just a short drive to the ski hill, but the cabin was situated a ways back on the property and we felt like we were in our own winter wonderland. The cabin had everything we needed, including board games! and the wood stove kept us nice and warm. We enjoyed hiking around with our dog and also spending time in the hot tub. Jennifer was very communicative & responsive and we felt extremely taken care of and welcome. We hope to come back again one day!

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

We had a great time at Kate’s place. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect way to relax and unwind, especially in the snow. Kate was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage with a Nice wild backyard Little too close to the neighbors but very calm area

Victoria was a very responsive host and very helpful. I felt like the living/kitchen area was a bit small/smaller than anticipated but other than that everything was pretty great. The entry way is leaking so the basketball game isn’t really playable at the moment.

Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

Jennifer and Nigel were so friendly and accommodating. We came up after a huge snowfall and they spent a lot of time clearing it so it was easy to drive our car in and walk to the bunkie. They even took the time to set up a fire in the pit outside and pre-warmed the bunkie (it was -23 the night we stayed!) we were cozy and comfortable for the night we stayed. Would definitely recommend Jennifer and Nigel’s bunkie in the pines.

Excellent experience at this cottage. Lots to do around but the serenity and tranquility was at its best! Laura was an excellent host, thank you for a wonderful stay. Will be back!

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Perfect weekend get away. Close to the city. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play.

Chelsea’s cottage was absolutely beautiful. The bedrooms were comfortable and beds/linens super comfy made us feel right at home. The kitchen is very well stocked and bathrooms had towels and everything we needed. The tv was already connected to Netflix and Disney plus which was awesome and the fire pit was beautiful to sit around. The cottage was super easy to find and service and wifi was perfect the whole weekend. Chelsea was quick to respond and super helpful even providing a cute guidebook with all the information we needed about both the cottage and the town nearby. She was also super accommodating by working with our schedule for a bit of an earlier checkin and checkout. We were here for a little bachelorette weekend and this was the perfect getaway. Only downside I would mention is that the neighbours next door on both sides are very close. So in the summer months guests may want to be extra mindful of noise and note that the neighbours are very very close.

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful cabin. Aside from being a beautiful cabin, the cabin was supplied with almost everything one would need. Tracey and her husband were exceptional hosts. We are hoping to go back.

Perfect little getaway with friends - we very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We loved the peaceful backyard and the fully equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed Tiny as there were lots of trails and beaches to explore. Samuel made check-in very easy and was quick to respond to any communications. Highly recommend this stay!

Wonderful place to stay with lots of thoughtful touches that made the experience even more enjoyable. Mike and Nicole were incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions—great hosts all around!

We had a wonderful stay at Jaclyn and John’s place! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. John was incredibly helpful — he even helped us with our luggage and kindly gave us fresh eggs from their farm. We loved visiting the farm and meeting the donkeys, which made the experience even more special. Jaclyn and John were very friendly and responsive, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would love to come back and highly recommend their place!

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.

We stayed at this A frame cabin as our anniversary getaway and it looks exactly like the photos & was extremely cozy! Leah was great help to assure we got there with no issues since we arrived after dark. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a great weekend stay. a very nice tiny house with a full size bathroom, sofa and laundry. my wife used the sauna a couple times and she loved it. Worth the stay for sure!
