Just 15 minutes from the City of Edinburgh bypass, this is the perfect rural retreat with a hot tub for those that want to explore the surrounding areas. Edinburgh and the Lothians offer much to explore. Just a stones throw away from Glenkinchie Distillery, the accommodation includes use of beautiful mature gardens in a tranquil farmland setting where wildlife is abundant. *VERY family friendly*

Lovely Guest Suite,Balerno. Sleeps two.

Our guest suite is in a quiet residential area in Balerno; a village at the foot of the scenic Pentland Hills. A beautiful spot for walkers and nature lovers. To visit the city take a 25 minute car drive or the 44 Lothian bus at the end of the road for a 45 min bus ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea and sugar plus cereal for your first breakfast. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafe & takeaways within a short walk. A parking spot on the drive is available on request.

The Den

The Den is an area separated from the main house by a sliding door. It has patio doors onto a small balcony providing its own ndependent access. Lovely garden. The 'kitchen' is limited and is part of the laundry room. It has a Meile oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, kettle, toaster and sink but not really suitable for big cook ups. Many buses to city centre. Easy access to the hills, Water of Leith, East and West Loithian and the airport if travelling by car. There is free parking.

Beautiful walks, private stay, self check-in

The Mill, formerly the sawmill for Borthwick Hall, is a charming property built in the 1800s. The conversion of the building was completed in 2003 and is now a wonderful family home. My husband, Steve, and I moved up to Scotland from London in December 2017 and absolutely love it up here. With lovely people and beautiful open spaces, it’s the perfect place for us to relax and raise our kids. We love having friends and family visit and look forward to offering our space to guests as well.

Compact, mid-century decor self-contained studio. Our home is in a residential area of the city. NOT in the city centre. Complimentary tea, coffee and simple breakfast food provided. Bus stop beside the house with regular service; one bus, into Princes St in 25-35 mins. We have a small driveway for you to use. We are 2 mins from the by-pass and are 15 min from Airport by taxi. Waters of Leith and Pentlands are close by. The Historic Colinton Village is 10 minutes walk down the hill.

This is a large double bedroom suite with relaxing sitting area, double bed and dressing table in the sleeping area, dressing room and shower room. It is part of an old steading has access to on to grassy areas that over look a paddock. The access to all of central Scotland is ideal from this property particularly Edinburgh Airport and the M9/M8 links and the city bypass. although we are close to Edinburgh city this old farm maintains a rural feel and offers a home away from home feel.

Juniper Green is served by a range of local shops including hairdressers, deli, supermarket, takeaways and a real ale pub serving food. Regular bus services run day and night from outside the house into Edinburgh. Recreational access to the Water of Leith cycle and walkway into Edinburgh, local parks and the Pentland Hills.
