Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Tara’s home was a great find. It’s close to the city center (15ish minute drive) in a quiet residential area. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals, grill outside, grocery store 2 minutes away. Book, games and toys for the kids including soccer and basketballs. Everything we could need was available. She was quick to respond to questions and was kind enough to let us check in early after our red eye flight. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay it was nice to not have to pay for parking. Everything was an easy walk to get to.

We had an unforgettable stay at this Airbnb property in Vogar. The house was impeccably clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a full kitchen, comfortable living areas fireplace, washer/dryer, and lovely deck overlooking the water. The location was stunning—remote yet offering breathtaking views of the sunset, black sand beach, mountains and we even saw the northern lights on three of the four nights we stayed. Ólafur the host was incredibly communicative and thoughtful. After long days of exploring Iceland’s natural beauty, relaxing in the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we look forward to returning and recommending this property to friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable Icelandic getaway that is centrally located. 15 minutes from the airport and Blue Lagoon, 35 minutes to Reykjavík, and easily accessible to the highway for road trips. Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Great place for a family with small kids. Spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and other toys. Host was flexible with check in and efficient/accommodating even though previous guests checked out a bit late.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was clean and accurate to photos and description. Easy and helpful correspondence with the host as well.

Dísa's accomodation was outstanding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We wanted something remote so we had more chances of seeing the aurora and we were amazed how stunning it was at the property - better than the tour we went on! There were some lovely walks we could take from the front door - just make sure you dress for the weather! Her dog Bonzo even joined us for the hikes and he was a lovely companion showing us the way. Dísa even came and gave us some eggs freshly laid on the farm that morning! The property was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are some local activities that Dísa recommended and can get some discounts on. We opted for a lovely natural hot springs which was just the ticket to soak in the thermal rock pools with the snowy mountains in the backdrop. Thank you again for an amazing stay. A truly unforgettable visit to Iceland!

Asa was a lovely host. She was very quickly responsive every time we messaged. We were able to check in early after our morning flight which was such a wonderful surprise. She reached out to us first thing that morning to ask when we landed and offered for us to come early. We were allowed to park in the garden adjacent to the building which was very convenient. It is dry walkable to attractions, located a few blocks from Rainbow Rd and the Hallgrimskirkja Cathedral. The place itself has everything you need including extra bedding for the couch if needed. Asa made sure we had coffee when we arrived and even left a couple sweet treats and energy drinks in the fridge!

Apartamento muy amplio y cómodo. Baño enorme. Cocina bien y muchos utensilios de cocina. Limpieza regular, necesita algo de limpieza en profundidad.

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

Vilborg’s apartment in Reykjavik was perfect for our stay. Check-in was super smooth with clear and easy instructions. The apartment itself is beautiful—full of lovely plants and cute, stylish decor. It felt spacious and comfortable for our family of four, and everything was very clean and quiet. A great place to relax after exploring the city. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely time at Zoei’s garden. One of the coziest places we’ve ever stayed in! The geothermal hot tub was so nice to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need and more. Very family friendly. If we are being honest, Godo (the cat) was our favorite part of our entire stay. He was the sweetest cat we’ve ever met and I think we’d travel all the way back to Iceland just to see him again! ♥️ The house is in the perfect location to travel to Reykjavik or the snæsfellsness peninsula and anywhere inbetween. Zoei was an incredible host - super responsive and always available to answer any questions we had! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us! We will be back!

La cabaña de Kristinn ha sido sin duda alguna una de las perlas de nuestro viaje a Islandia. Una zona con mucha privacidad y en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de varios puntos de interés y de la ciudad de Selfoss. Lo hemos pasado en grande, habiendo ido con un bebé de 15 meses todo ha sido perfecto. Inolvidable la sensación de estar en nuestro jacuzzi mientras nevaba, repetiremos sin duda.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad en genoten van de mooie omgeving! Daarnaast helpt de host je altijd snel met vragen en was alles aanwezig in het huisje om je dagen door te komen. De basis artikelen waren al aanwezig en het huisje is heerlijk. De slaapkamer bovenin in de kruipruimte was wel erg smal. Kom je dus met 4 personen hou er dan rekening mee dat het vrij smal is en even klimmen om bij deze slaapruimte te komen. Bereik was daarnaast ook slecht in het huisje en geen wifi. Al deze punten waren voor ons geen probleem en hebben enorm genoten en zouden het zeker iedereen aanraden!

This is a beautiful house in a serene location. Hjalmar is a great host. Welcome drinks on our arrival made us feel we were in for a special stay. Highly recommended this place. All the things you need for a great stay. Remember to bring food to BBQ or roast. The nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away. If you are looking for that special getaway, this is it!

We stayed at this place for two nights ( 3 adults and 1 kid). It is very well equipped, you'll find everything you need for grilling or regular cooking. Views are breathtaking, and if you're lucky with the weather you can just chill outside and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts were very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Instructions are perfect. One thing to note - if you use google maps, don't put the address there, use the coordinates. Address is correct, but google maps directs you to wrong location ( though, not far from correct place ).

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

We loved this cozy cabin! It is so lovely, we felt immediately at home. Everything you need is there and it is spotlessly clean. The surroundings are wonderful and private and still every golden circle attraction is super close. We also loved the walk at the nearby waterfall, enjoyed the Laugarvatn Fontana, and had a very tasty lunch at the farm next door. It was great coming ‘home’ to the cabin every day, it just suited us perfectly. The jacuzzi is a big bonus! And we were able to see the Aurora very clearly in multiple parts of the sky on our second evening. Magical! Thank you Arnar for being a wonderful host and reacting very fast on our questions. Would highly recommend and would love to come back some day.

This is the second time I have stayed with Ragnar, and have felt right at home each time. The best place to stay in the Vesturlands.
