A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Charming 3 bedroom, 1 bath traditional wooden cabin, situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer islands. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor being National park land. 5 minutes drive to Acadia National Park -Flying Mountain and Valley Cove are very close by. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is located in the Village of Southwest Harbor on Mt. Desert Island, where local lobstermen start their day around 3 am. The house is located across from Milagro Coffee Bar and the Shoppes at Southwest Harbor and just minutes away from many hiking trails in Acadia National Park, restaurants, shops, swimming holes & beaches.
