Hummingbird Oceanside Suites: The Modern Cabin

OCEAN & MOUNTAIN VIEWS w/ PRIVATE HOT TUB & SHARED WOOD BARREL SAUNA The cabin is a beautiful spot to relax with friends and family, with its huge windows that provide sweeping views of West Van, North Shore Mountains and the Howe Sound. The cabin is 1,000 sq.ft. with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room w/ sofa bed, full kitchen, large patio, and private hot tub. Sleeps 4 adults & 2 kids. There’s no better place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine to soak in the views!

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are two large sun-filled bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s also a third bedroom with a sofa bed for a 5th person or use it as a kids room ( we have portable crib/pack n play, a bassinet and a toddler's matresd). All rooms overlook the gardens with mountain and ocean views. This is a self contained suite in the first level of the house we live on the second floor.

Summer Lovin' at the Love Shack (New Firepit!)

The "Love Shack" is the perfect get away for a couple or a pair of close friends! Nestled in the woods you will find a rustic cabin with cedar skin siding. Endless hot water on demand and electric fire place make for a cozy feel in the winter. The deck is an ideal space to sit and enjoy a beverage! Enjoy a comfortable sleep with memory foam mattress and feather duvet! Close to a great network of local biking trails. We are less than two minutes from the ferry terminal by car. Propane BBQ!

Ocean view suite (No hot tub Jul 1 - Sept 30)

Private suite inside of a 3 storey house located within 30min walking (some may find it challenging) distance of the Langdale Ferry Terminal. In the lovely town of Gibsons, it is only a 40 min ferry ride from West Vancouver. Along with fantastic views it offers many great features such as hot tub for your private use available from October 1 to June 30 only. We also have electric car charger available on-site. Step back in time with a stay at our newly renovated historic beachfront property on the Sunshine Coast. Grantham House was once a bustling community hub as the local post office and general store, and beginning in the 1920's, a favoured summer stop of the Union Steamships Company. This unique studio suite, named after the Lady Cecilia steamship that once docked here, offers a serene escape with breathtaking views of Keats Island and oceanfront access.

Kick back and relax while staying in the Cabin at Paradise on Boyle. Only a few minutes drive from the ferry, you will feel like you've escaped somewhere special when you're staying in this very private, newly built cabin. While staying on the acreage, take in the forest views, the roaming deer and the songbirds on your covered wrap around patio. A 5 minute drive to great hiking, beaches, world class mountain biking and all that Gibsons has to offer.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

Nestled amongst the trees, relax and reset in this unique home where the curated interior mirrors the beauty of the nature surrounding it. The large sprawling deck allows you to peacefully soak in the views of the Sechelt Inlet. Or take a moment or three to appreciate the large arbutus tree etched across your sight line. Our place is easy to find, but hard to forget.
