I planned a surprise fishing trip for my husband and chose Creekside Cabins after talking to the very helpful host, Debbie. The directions were clear, and the old barn landmark made it easy to find. We immediately thought, “We should bring the whole family next time!” The Shanty and the big cabin are close together, but noise wasn’t much of an issue. Inside our cabin, we hardly noticed neighbors. The first night it rained, so we grilled and relaxed in the cozy rocking chairs. The bed was very soft — I prefer firmer, but it was comfortable. Mornings with coffee on the patio overlooking the river were peaceful. My husband spent the weekend fishing while I read by the fire pit. The shared shower house was large and clean with good hot water and pressure. We’re already planning to return! Bonus: my husband broke his line trying to reel in a 3-footer and caught several carp — it’s definitely a good fishing spot!

This home was gorgeous in the middle of nature, laying in the hot tub looking out over the trees and fields was so relaxing and listening to the birds and even the rain didn’t ruin anything for us. Indoor patio was nice while it was raining if we didn’t feel like being out in it but was able to open the windows and get that open air feeling. Very abundant wildlife but only about 20-30 minutes out from Canton so you’re in the middle of nature but not so far gone you couldn’t go do anything if you wanted to. Would suggest to anyone looking to unplug.

Kelly’s cottage was perfect! So beautiful and peaceful! House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kelly was an amazing host, I booked last minute and she was so gracious and quick to respond. She made sure we had everything we needed and it was lovely to arrive to fresh banana bread and brownies! I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The cabin was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. And the property was beautifully wooded and nicely landscaped. As others have mentioned, better window treatments would provide a better sense of privacy, but the cabin is nicely nestled in the woods and neighboring homes are out of sight.

The Lift Chair is a big plus for someone in need of that service, extremely quiet surroundings, Second Story deck overlooked a beautiful setting, easily found the few items we needed in our short stay

This place was just what we needed. We rented this place following a death in the family locally and we needed somewhere for family to gather and be together. This house and the property was everything we could ask for. Quiet. Peaceful. Spacious enough to allow for individual space when needed. The property is beautiful. The house has character and comfort. The hosts have stocked EVERYTHING a person could need. And it has an amazing vibe and history. It felt to all of us that there has been much love and laughter in this historic home which is just what we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

Rhonda was an excellent host, she had reasonable rules and responded to every message quickly. The home was super cozy and a fun place to relax for a weekend!

Dan’s lakeside stay was the PERFECT getaway for my family this year for Easter. Everyone was comfortable and was able to enjoy their private bedrooms, bathrooms, and the amenities are ideal. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, playing pool in the garage, enjoying the view on the deck, and spending time with eachother as a family. The playroom for the small kids was perfect, too, which gave them their own little escape from adults. This is hands-down my Top 2 places I’ve stayed for AirBnB, and I hope we can return again next year.
