Shell Cottage is a traditional fishermen's dwelling set directly on the waterfront in a traffic-free zone in atmospheric Mousehole harbour. Perfectly positioned next to the sea, it is a few steps from the beach and just around the corner from all village amenities including award-winning restaurants, shops. delicatessens and two pubs. The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. It would suit a couple (or family with 1/2 younger children). Quietly situated above Mousehole, & just a short (5 min) walk down the steep hill to the stunning village & amazing little harbour, where there are great restaurants, an old pub, deli & galleries. Fab swimming & coastal walks are close by. Its perfect for a romantic break or a family getaway.

Best described by previous guests; Fall straight into Cornish time with lazy mornings, long days and joyful returns. mOlly mUppeT is hidden amongst the houses behind the owners cottage and she soon becomes a real home and a stunning place from which to explore. So very cute in every way, the attention to detail is second to none. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, whilst the garden was a little piece of heaven. A memorable base for a memorable holiday!
