We can only give 5 stars on every count - I wish we could give more. Binduraj is a kind, thoughtful and interesting soul and his hospitality was boundless! He showed us round the stunning island, delivered us the most delicious food, and allowed us to check in SO early (even coming to pick us up in his boat at 6am). This was easily one of the best Air BnB experiences I’ve had - the village was amazing, the backwaters beautiful. We even ventured out in his kayak! Could not recommend more.

I had a wonderful stay at Griffith's house! The room was peaceful, neat, and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The host and his family were incredibly humble, warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. He was kind enough to drop me at my office the next morning, which was a thoughtful gesture. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast they served. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and comfortable stay!

“A Hidden Gem by the River!” Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful wooden pod right in front of the river. The location is serene, offering stunning views and a peaceful ambiance. The owner, Devika, was extremely supportive and helpful throughout our stay. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, offering all the necessary amenities one could ask for. Could not have asked for a better place to live in Varkala! Even wanted to extend our trip for what the residency offered. All in all, a 10/10 on hospitality! They arranged scooters on rental, gave local recommendations, and arranged everything we asked for!! The bathrooms were squeaky clean too! Highly recommended!
