In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. All guests have a private apartment, there is 1 apartment per level. So there is a lot of privacy. Downstairs we have a laundry, which you can use. We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

Our high-end duplexapartment is very accessibly located in between the 'Kouter' (rectangle square where the Flemish Opera is) and the medieval center (St-Bavo-Cathedral, Graslei, Korenmarkt, Gravensteen to name a few highlights). Brand new, comfortable and classy, with a library-staircase which is not only an eyecatcher. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sunny terrace! We called our gem "LaCasitaBelMundo”, just adding the dot Gent, to get the full picture.

Brightfull one bedroom appartment located in Nazareth, 12 km away from the city center of Ghent. The appartment has a very large living room with fully equiped kitchen. Nice bathroom. 1 bedroom with double bed. There is also a south-oriented terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner when the weather is nice. The appartment is on walking distance from good bakeries, supermarkets and public transportations. A direct bus to Ghent is stopping 1 minute away from our front door.

All three bedrooms have the possibility to convert the single beds to a double bed with the use of topper mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.

The location is exacly on the spot where untill the 1860 the old city gate “Brugse poort” was located, Private parking is possible on demand. Everything you want to visit is just a short walk away.

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Veel parkeerplek en vlot bereikbaar met bus of tram, haltes op minder dan een km afstand. Er is een goede busverbinding met het treinstation Gent-Sint-Pieters.
