The eleven rooms comprise doubles, twins and a large family / group room, some rooms are ensuite. The ground floor comprises a large lounge, separate dining area and self catering kitchen. There is also a sunny courtyard with secure bike shelters and a laundry. The hostel is a few minutes from the beach, harbour , High Street and railway station.

In addition, the historic Edinburgh Castle is just a 30-minute walk from our guest house in Mayfield Gardens. The guest house is conveniently located near the main bus route into the city, making it easy to reach all major attractions. The University of Edinburgh is a 15-20 minute walk away.

One of the most central stays in the city. This room is above our gorgeous & *LIVELY* bar right next to the tram & train station so suits guests that aren’t sensitive to the sounds of the city. This is one of our two LOUD rooms. It’s right above the DJ booth and is recommended for guests preparing for a night out on the town or downstairs with us. Music stops at 2am and the bar is closed by 2.30am.
