We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

James is a lovely host, excellent and clear communication. The flat is perfect base to explore the local area. We had a lovely holiday!

The apartment was well located and had all amenities. From our arrival to leaving, everything was available within the apartment, which was clean, comfortable and perfect for a long weekend. The area is well located, close to the sea and the nice town on Bidport, with a nice local market on the Saturday morning (worth a walk - around 30 minutes). Travelled to Weymouth but we recommend the 53 bus for the views along the cliff.. amazing and worth the ride just for this view (take the upper level if a double-decker). We'll be back, just for the location and the people. :-)

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

The place has everything you need, is thoughtfully set up and has a great view of the harbour.

The picture window makes this place just stunning - any time in the apartment we spent just looking out and enjoying the view. The road is quite busy and noisy but the view was definitely worth it. The apartment is really well kitted out with pretty crockery, rugs and throws available, a good collection of kitchen cleaning kit - sponges, washing up liquid, brushes etc. The small size dishwasher was very handy and there was a good selection of pots and pans as well. The bedrooms are smallish, but the main room is so lovely you only sleep in them, so that's fine - good storage in both them and the bathrooms cupboards so clutter is kept at bay. There is parking in the garage (which has a lift so handy for luggage transport) however it has very tight angles and with a big car we only ventured into it once! There is plenty of on street parking on the side road so no big issue - although during the day it is quite busy parking there. Overall a wonderful apartment - oh that window!

If you are looking for an apartment with a fantastic location this spot would be ideal. Located in Kingswear there are stunning views across to the Dartmouth embankment and harbour made more picturesque with the steam railway passing by. The apartment is immaculately presented with the kind gesture of milk and biscuits on arrival, all home comforts and a beautiful balcony which captures the sun and adds to the appeal. There are 2 pubs and wine bar within a five minute walk and 2 fine dinning restaurants amongst many other eateries across in Dartmouth. We can’t thank our host enough for a great stay.

This is the second time that we have stayed and it was just as fabulous as the first time . It’s on a quite side street so you are within a few minutes walk of the hubbub of the town with none of the noise which is perfect . Wonderful views , Clean with all the amenities you could wish for , and a super responsive host we will definitely be back for a 3rd time !!

Perfect accommodation, great communication, very happy and would use again

We enjoyed a last minute weekend break at Slipway in Fowey with our children. Great location with lovely views over the estuary . Parking at carpark nearby. The house was nice and restful after a long journey. The garden had nice far reaching views. Lots of recommendations for local restaurants and things to do locally.

Stylish beach house is exactly what it says it is. Very clean comfortable, lots of space. It is right in the heart of the pubs,restaurants,shops and beach. Would definitely recommend to a friend or relative. Tristan the host was amazing very helpful and kind. Would definitely like to go back there again some other time.

Second time staying here. It does not disappoint and is everything and more that is shown. Nigel and Janet are fantastic hosts, great communication and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly Highly recommend this air B&B. We will be back.

Just got back from a lovely impromptu weekend in Looe with my 2 children age 5 & 8. We found it really easily thanks to great instructions and arrived to find the cottage warm, cosy and welcoming. The location is just perfect, in a quiet area and we couldn’t stop looking out of the window at the beautiful view of the river. It’s a pleasant 10 minute walk to the main centre of town where there were so many things to see and do. The shop across the road was really handy, and parking was always easy on the quayside. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

As an adult family of 6, we had a fantastic long Easter weekend in this lovely property. Mark was very quick to respond to any communication and made everything very straightforward before and during our stay. We loved the location, with everything within easy walking distance. The views are to die for .... will definitely miss them and it felt like home from home. Love Fowey and love this beautiful property and will definitely be back again one day. Thank you!

The house was fantastic lovely and clean and as described. Visited the local pub the famous Barrels, beer was great and staff were friendly f , opposite is a pizza restaurant which was absolutely outstanding pizza perfection. Used the local indan for a take away which was also lovely. Also used the seven stars for dinner which was ok. Easy drive into Falmouth a few minutes away. Pendennis point has fabulous veiws out to sea and across the estuary.

Her communication was fantastic, making everything effortless. And the cherry on top? A tin of chocolates awaiting us on arrival—a small but deeply meaningful gesture that showed how much she cares about her guests. This is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience crafted with care and kindness. If you're looking for a warm, hassle-free getaway with an exceptional host, this is the one. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Chris’s place. The views are outstanding and the bustling marina is only around the corner. Well equipped kitchen which we cooked in on both occasions. Great location for those interested in walking along the Somerset coastal path. We got to Clevedon this time! The only real drawback is the 4 flights of stairs (worth it once you’re up there! 🤩) which might be tricky for less able people. We will definitely return again 🤗

We had a great stay in Penryn. Damien was really friendly and met us when we arrived. Communication was great throughout our stay too, which made everything really easy. The flat was a perfect base for getting around, the bed was super comfy, and the view was gorgeous. Thanks so much for having us, Damien!

Jackies place is outstanding, shes thought of everything. We took my mum whos 92 with mobility issues it was perfect for her. Could easily get wheelchair through the house. Parking, a huge bonus and patio area. Easy level walk to town 10 mins and to seafront in minutes. We will be rebooking. Scones/cream milk on arrival thank you Jackie.

Harry is the best possible kind of host. He’s friendly, very responsive and extremely communicative. His apartment is beautiful and very easy to use. The ONLY drawback that I have is nothing to do with Harry - the neighbourhood itself is a very private and quiet village and we were given a list in the lift requesting that we be very quiet. Aside from that - Harry is amazing and you will not find a better host. Thank you Harry!

A real gem of a flat, well positioned with own parking place just a few metres away. The flat was exceptionally well equipped, cosy but spacious with a lovely outlook towards the Fal and harbour. The kitchen area had everything for a short, or longer, stay and was a delight to work in. A lot more kitchen equipment is provided than the usual airbnb's. The main bedroom was full of light in the morning, the small balcony a bonus for sitting out with a cup of tea or coffee. The fixtures throughout the flat are quite new and very clean. We struggled with the cold bath tap, probably because of old hands. Elly provided a comprehensive guide for using all the equipment which was very helpful. The welcome basket of nibbles was a really nice touch. A quite delightful spot, we thoroughly enjoyed our week stay, thanks Elly.

A fabulous gem tucked out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the main Barbican high street. A two minute walk from the great restaurants and pubs, we recommend the pizzas in the Barbican Pasta Bar & The Village Restaurant for the best Dover Sole! Charles our host was very friendly and responded to any questions quickly. The flat had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and well decorated.

Amazing stay - I very much hope to be back, if you love watching boats pass by the living room window but also want to wander through the lanes of Falmouth, this is your place 😊
