Central Richmond Living in a Victorian Apartment

The apartment is on the first floor (UK 'first floor' meaning it's above the ground-level floor) of a three story house on a very quiet street but only a few minutes walk into the heart of Richmond. Guests can utilize the entire apartment and the contents. I am happy to interface directly with my guests, or I am happy to do it remotely. I live in Richmond, so I can also be on hand if needed. The apartment is an easy five-minute walk from Richmond Centre. A mix of high-class boutiques and brand-name stores are found next to cafes, tea houses, gastropubs, bars, and award-winning restaurants. Transport links connect to central London. All services are safe, clean and efficient. Richmond Station is only a few minutes walk away (where taxis are always available), and provides three services: the traditional London Underground (25 – 30 mins into the centre), The London Overground (25 mins to North London / Hampstead), and regular train services either into Waterloo (20 mins) or out of London to wherever you wish to go! There are buses going south towards Kingston, and north towards Kew Gardens. The 391 and the 65 bus routes will take you smack through the centre of Richmond and Kew all the way across Kew Bridge to Chiswick and beyond. If you are in the mood for a stroll, Richmond Park is 10 minutes walk away and the river is also about 10 minutes - great for a wander along in summer while sampling the pubs and bars. Richmond bridge takes you across to the charming St Margaret's area. The neighbours in the apartments below and above are very nice folks, so please do be mindful of them, particularly late at night when going in and out of the apartment!

Spacious Studio ( ex photo studio) converted to a peaceful spacious self contained one bedroom studio apartment with high ceilings and access to our garden. Next to Richmond Park, Richmond on Thames, East Sheen, near Barnes and Putney, our own gate direct to the park! Two excellent pub/restaurants nearby, supermarkets 10 mins walk away. 25 mins by train to central London from Mortlake Station, about 15-20mins walk away, buses to Richmond are 6 mins walk away and take about 8 mins to town centre.

Large, light self contained space with en suite.

This studio space with en suite shower room comprises the top floor of our semi-detached house. It is reached via a common entrance and stairway but is self contained with comfortable bed, excellent workspace, small fridge and microwave and en suite shower room. It couldn't be called "uncluttered" but it is nice clutter - an excellent library, vintage hi-fi system with large collection of vinyl and CDs; and a 32" flatscreen tv with Netflix, Prime and Tidal music streaming.

Top Floor Richmond Home

My home is tastefully renovated and in a great location. My inspiration: Nancy Myers! Enjoy all the home interior aesthetic of a much loved movie. There is also a shared courtyard area at the entrance.Mortlake Train Station is a 10 minute walk and Richmond is 10 minutes on the bus.

Garden Studio Kew

We offer a modern studio accommodation with a shower room in the back of our spacious garden in a quiet part of Kew. The studio has independent access. Our guests can enjoy a large terrace in front of the studio. The studio is equipped with fast WiFi, a TV, DVD player, small fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. We are situated about 10 mins walking distance from Kew Gardens tube and rail station, 15 mins from the National Archives and Kew Gardens.

Enjoy this home from home. Ideally located within walking of both Richmond Park and the river. 5 Minutes from the station that takes 24 minutes to Waterloo Station giving you easy access to central London. All amenities on your doorstep with a range of restaurants, cafe's and independent shops, as well supermarkets. I'm happy to share my home, but I'm afraid it's not suitable for children under 12 years. I hope you relax and find it as cosy as I do!

Kew - light self contained room

We have a light, bright self contained room at the top of our terraced house. It has an en suite shower room plus light cooking facilities. It is located within easy reach of train station North Sheen or Kew Gardens tube. It is not far from the Records Office and Kew Gardens. Ideally we would prefer a longer let but happy to discuss. My husband and I plus our dog live in the bottom half of the house. We are none smokers and very friendly.

You can access Windsor Castle very easily by public transport. 35 minutes to Wimbledon tennis, 20 minutes to Twickenham rugby. Easy access to central London & Heathrow.
