We absolutely loved everything about this home. Very clean, beds were comfy, Kitchen stocked with everything you need from making coffee to cooking. The location was very close to town and I loved that it was easy to order Grubhub and Instacart. Allison was a fantastic host, any questions we had were answered promptly. I would totally recommend The Dogwood Den.

Leah was a phenomenal host, very responsive and fast with her replies to my questions. The place was super comfortable and welcoming. It was peaceful and quiet just as advertised. Had a wonderful stay!

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

This was a perfect cozy and peaceful cottage. we can't wait to return in the warmer months but we still enjoyed waking up to the pretty lake. We were warm and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want! The house was very clean! Ryan is a terrific host and responds promptly with friendly and very helpful messages.

Great staying here again. Even got an Irish win this time. Lake so serene with my morning coffee.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. The cottage was a perfect long weekend rendezvous for our reunion of old friends with two families of four. It was so nice that all the kids had their own beds and all the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the separate sitting rooms for adults vs kids. The kayak and large backyard with firepit were great entertainment. And the outdoor shower was rejuvinating with hot water and ample space.

It is a great cozy little lake getaway. The host has the place stocked with anything and everything that you would need. Perfect for anyone who might forget something. it has a beautiful view of theLake. Aaron was a great host to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.

Great family run resort. Perfect size and very welcoming. It’s quaint and very much has a small town feel. It was perfect for our big group of 9! Nice deck/grill/view of the lake.

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Holly’s Cozy Cottage was just that! It was comfortable and clean with yard games and a fire pit. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time. Holly provided lots of unexpected amenities to make our stay comfortable. Holly was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend a stay at this AirBNB!

This is a GREAT place to kickback and relax on the lake. We were attending several functions and this provided a base of operations. Gregory FULLY described both the good and the challenges of being here. We are 2 couples late 70’s and late 80’s and navigated the steps he talks about just fine. You need to be aware but not afraid. I definitely would stay here again.

My daughters and I celebrated Easter at Kim’s cottage It’s clean, beautifully furnished and she is extremely responsive (I mentioned I forgot OJ on the phone and she was in the area and she left two OJs at the door) The cottage is cozy and fun We grilled, dyed eggs, watched movies, played a board game and loved the hot tub It’s clean clean !!! Just book it It’s a jewel box

Beautiful lake view, immaculate living conditions, cozy beds and indoor seating layout, as well as a perfect fire pit setup made for a wonderful spot for my mom, sister and I to celebrate a milestone birthday. We appreciated the view while we sipped coffee in the morning and Aaron responded immediately when we needed a password to access the television on our last night. An easy 10 minute drive to the quaint village area for shopping and dining, I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to others looking to spend time on the lake.

modern cabin update in a private, serene setting makes for a relaxing escape. Lucas is a great host who's done a wonderful job of transforming the property into a place where you can really get away from it all while still being conveniently situated for visiting Middlebury, Shipshewana, Goshen, Elkhart, and other points of interest (check out Bonneyville Mills nearby). loved the fireplace and comfy king bed. as stated there's no wi-fi and cell service was a bit spotty, but you'll likely enjoy the experience without having to contend with the distractions. highly recommended overall and would definitely look to stay here when in the area again.

Very nice stay, house is wonderful. Amenities/lake activities were great. Houses driving in were a little off putting but this house was perfect and we never felt unsafe. Would definitely stay again.

This place was well beyond our expectations. First off the host was extremely accommodating. She accommodated my special needs for my husband’s birthday weekend. Great location as well had dinner & tasting at journeyman. So close. The cabin itself was so clean & had everything. The grounds were great & so nice to wake up to. Had coffee in the enclosed patio, took a nice walk around the resort & had such a peaceful time in the cabin. The master bedroom was so comfortable, & I’m very picky about that. This stay made me look into owning in this actual resort. My only regret is our kids are all older now, college age, that I didn’t find this place when they were younger. This is a fabulous family place. I will definitely be back, plus highly recommend this to others! Great host, clean cabin & great central location!

Sitting in a comfy recliner next to the fireplace and looking out at a tranquil snowy landscape with majestic cranes was just the relaxing break I needed!

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

We loved our stay at the red cottage. The porch, fire pit and water access are great perks to this airbnb, as well as being pet friendly. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Would visit again. 😄
