We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

Dylan’s place was better than anticipated. Large, well-laid out, clean, beautiful views and well-stocked. I think most impressive was Dylan himself who was extremely responsive and friendly. He is a SuperHost. I would absolutely come back,

The photos of this home looked fabulous. In person, it was even better! Stunning accommodations, gorgeous location on the water, high end finishes throughout the house and better than we expected. Extremely clean and well-stocked in each and every room. I can’t say enough about this place, we would love to return and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any of my friends or family.

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed and more. We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay at Michelle’s place. Great location in the heart of Port Carling but still private enough to relax on the large deck and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay again.

the space was gorgeous! the views out of all the windows were awesome. the hot tub/deck/dock space were also to die for! Randy gave us a tour of the space including our private deck with bbq and the shared outdoor spaces. Having a host actually meet and greet is something that is rarer and rarer on air bnb lately and my wife and I liked the experience. Will be back again!

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

This cottage is an absolute gem. We had the best time, as did our golden retriever, by far one of his funnest weekends ever!!! The sandy beach was perfect for him. We loved the docks, kayaks, row boat, paddle board, all so fun and peaceful on the calm lake. The cottage was in a great location, easy to find. The inside of the cottage was so cozy. Minden is so close and such a cute town. Thank you!!!

Such an awesome stay! The cottage was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The lakefront views were even better in person — we spent so much time just hanging out on the deck and by the water. It was the perfect spot to relax and unplug. The hosts were super friendly and made everything really easy. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Definitely coming back!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!
