The house is beautiful, peaceful and very well equipped. André looked after us really well (especially when the boiler stopped working and there was no hot water). Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you

Joao David's place was perfect for a night in Figueira da Foz area. I came through hoping to surf the famous right point (which you can see right from the apartment deck) on my way back north to Porto (after a couple months in the Algarve), but alas the conditions were quite rough and didn't line up for good surf. Nevertheless, I had a cozy stay in the stormy weather at Joao David's. The kitchen is super well equipped and though I only stayed one night, I prepared a couple great meals to take with me on the road. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need to be comfortable. Loved that you could see the ocean and check the surf conditions from the apartment. Please note the apartment is on the 4th floor (so 5 floors up) and you need to carry your bags up there (no elevator). Would definitely stay again!

Wir sind absolut begeistert von der Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft von Jorge und Susana! Wir blieben 2 Wochen und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Es war makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Das Bett war so bequem! Jorge und Susana waren immer erreichbar und haben uns sogar bei Ankunft und während des Aufenthaltes ein paar Leckereien da gelassen. Toll auch war, dass wir ein Separé im Innenhof komplett für uns allein hatten. Für unsere beiden Hunde total toll, da sie den ganzen Tag in der Sonne liegen konnten, wenn wir arbeiteten, ohne dass wir Angst haben mussten, dass sie weglaufen können. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß direkt am riesigen Sandstrand. Es war traumhaft und auch die Nachbarn haben wir schnell ins Herz geschlossen. Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zeit! Wir kommen wieder!

Eine wirklich originelle und auch gemütliche Unterkunft. Wasserdruck und -temperatur der Dusche eher schwach, aber hey, es ist ein - ganz sachte schaukelndes - Hausboot! Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, vielen Dank.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing to improve would be the garden chairs . They are really not comfortable. Everything else was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in Marta’s home! It was beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home! Marta was available and happy to answer any questions we had. She was proactive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. The area is gorgeous. Walkable and easy to explore. We hope to be able to come back one day!

Mi estancia fue realmente agradable. La casa es muy acogedora y su ubicación, a un paso de la playa, es un verdadero tesoro. Dormir con el sonido del mar de fondo es uno de esos pequeños placeres que no tienen precio. El piso está reformado con un estilo moderno y cálido, además de estar impecablemente limpio y bien organizado. Adelaide estuvo atenta en todo momento, lo que me hizo sentir acompañada durante toda la estancia. También me recomendó varios restaurantes, algo que siempre se agradece, incluso conociendo ya la zona. Sin duda, pienso repetir.

La maison est située en bord de mer (la plage est à moins de 5 min de marche) et donne sur un jardin. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour et avons pu facilement visiter les environs (Gaïa, Aveiro, Porto). Mention spéciale pour Hugo qui est très disponible et dispense de bons conseils.

Ricardo’s place was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay there. The place was clean, spacious and looked just like in the photos. We loved that it was close to the beach and there was even a wellness facility around the corner. Ricardo and Sonia were super friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Traum. Das ganze Haus ist super ausgestattet, in der Küche fehlt es an nichts und die Betten sind super bequem. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und waren für die super Kommunikation mit den Besitzer*innen sehr dankbar. Die Gegend ist wirklich schön und der Strand ist nicht nur super nah, sondern auch sehr sehr schön. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Appartement spacieux, joli, dans une résidence calme, en bord de mer, avec piscines, sauna, salle de sport. l'appartement est bien équipé, propre , avec un balcon vue piscine et mer ! en octobre c'est très calme. beaucoup de choses a voir autour de ovar et a 40 min de porto. a améliorer : les matelas qui manquent de confort selon nous ( celui de la suite parentale est très inconfortable ) , la literie est très propre cependant comme le reste de l appartement ! avons passé excellent séjour en famille Merci

Recently rented a pleasantly well maintained flat that exceeded expectations. It’s fully furnished, clean, and super comfortable. The balcony offers a stunning sea view, making it a perfect place to relax. The building has a lift, and the location is ideal—close to the sea, amenities, and main roads, yet wonderfully quiet. A practical and well-designed space that feels like home. To top it off, the host is amazing, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely stay and the property exceeded our expectations. In our view, the property is even better than the photos showed. The property had everything we needed. We had great fun on the paddle boards Susana provided. It is worth noting that the public beach (400m away) does get noisy with some loud music, but we still had a wonderful time. Susana was great and very helpful and always responded promptly. Thank you Susana!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Adriano, qui est un hôte à l’écoute et très serviable. Nous le remercions chaleureusement d’avoir été aussi disponible pour nous aider. Par ailleurs, l’appartement est à la fois moderne, très agréable et tenu impeccablement ! La plage est à deux pas, toutes les conditions sont réunies pour passer de très bonnes vacances : nous recommandons !!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

We were greeted by Alex. He was very friendly and informative. Walked us thru the apartment and explained everything. There was a large bowl of fresh organic fruit,a decanter of fine Ruby Port & delicious Melba toast wafers with a jar of jam. Very nice welcoming!! The apartment is squeaky clean,with on site parking. The area is beautiful- steps from the ocean and many beaches & retaurants. An easy drive to historic Gaia. Overall a wonderful stay.

Tivemos uma estadia simplesmente maravilhosa! O espaço superou todas as nossas expectativas – limpo, aconchegante, confortavel, bem equipado e com uma localização excelente. Cada detalhe foi pensado com muito carinho, o que fez toda a diferença. O anfitrião foi extremamente atencioso e prestativo, nos fazendo sentir em casa desde o primeiro momento. Recomendamos de olhos fechados e esperamos voltar em breve!

Der Aufenthalt war super – alles genauso wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Der direkte Zugang zum Strand ist ein Highlight und bei Nacht kann man sogar leise das Rauschen des Meeres hören. Ruca ist herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Vielen Dank!! :)

Wir haben auch in der Nebensaison (Oktober) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt erleben dürfen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die nächstgelegenen Städte wie Viano do Castelo, Braga und Porto sind toll zu erreichen. Die Natur ist wunderschön, auch bei etwas schlechterem Wetter bieten die Dünen und der Strand immer Zeit für lange Spaziergänge. Wegen annulliertem Flug durften wir sogar nachträglich umbuchen und bei allen Anliegen war Carla sehr, sehr freundlich und ansprechbar. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Maria. Elle est attentive et accueillante. Elle a répondu à toutes nos demandes et même plus ! Dans le logement, la literie est confortable, c'est plutôt calme la journée et pas de bruit le soir. Je recommande ce logement pour une famille ou groupe 3 à 4 personnes maxi, c'est juste au bord de l'océan et on a un parking à proximité. J'espère qu'on aura l'occasion d'y retourner pour un séjour plus long.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Top Lage, sehr schön eingerichtet, Ausstattung bietet alles was man braucht, Minimarket grad um die Ecke, Restaurants und mehr in super Geh-Distanz, sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Eigentümerinnen - alles Top! Die Unterkunft entsprach genau den Fotos und unseren Vorstellungen. Der Strand direkt vor der Unterkunft ist wunderschön und war zu unserer Reisezeit menschenleer 🤩 Guter Surfstrand bei den richtigen Bedingungen 🏄🏻‍♀️🌊☀️. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert. This is truly the best airbnb I have ever been to. Mushroom house will be a great experience in one of the world’s most beautiful places. It’s a hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth its money!
