Absolute recommendation!! The room is very clean and has everything you need; the private terrace is lovely with an incredible view! Right next to the hotel there’s a wine bar with a very good wine selection. The location couldn’t be better: right in the center of Paleochora, 5 mins from basically everything, beach, restaurants, bus stations, etc… ❤️

We had a wonderful stay - apartment is fantastic - incredibly spacious with a beautiful view of the harbour from the main bedroom and balcony. We decided to pay more than we’d normally pay per night but it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Thank you, Di and Terry

We absolutely loved our stay at J&G! The suite was gorgeous and situated in the middle of Old Town with many restaurants and shops nearby. Greg was a wonderful host and provided very helpful recommendations for food and excursions. We would definitely stay here again - thank you Greg! -Ash & Tom

The room and location are perfect, Gogo is extremely friendly and helpful, and the balcony is in a perfectly-located position for enjoying the hustle and bustle of the busiest part of Chania. I stayed here twice and if I can I will stay here again!

So much more than expected. The location is ideal and only a 1 minute walk (literally across the laneway) to the beach. Had second level unit which provides the most beautiful views especially the sunsets. Lia was very friendly and responsive to any queries we had. Kalyves was stunning and can't wait to visit again. Ideal for families.

I absolutely loved my stay. Proimos Maisonnettes is a real gem. It has a lot of character and charm but what makes this place really special are the people: Constantinos, Vaso and Costas. They made me feel as if I was staying with friends or family and since I was there on my own, I really appreciated it. Make sure you eat at Costa’s because it’s like home made food you won’t get anywhere else in Platanias. Even something as simple as Greek Salad is amazing! The best one I have ever had and I had many! I loved my maisonnette. It was cosy, charming, clean and had everything I needed. Shops and restaurants are walking distance. I highly recommend Kyano and Match More, both close by. I cannot recommend this place more.

Amazing hotel 😄 The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of there way to provide a great service, cocktails delivered to your room or pool side was brilliant! Breakfast in the morning was a great standard, lots of options 😁 on arrival we were given a voucher for discount at the local restaurant, which was our favourite meals of the whole trip- definitely worth visiting. The cleanliness of the room and pool area couldn't be faulted, very high standard. The location of the hotel was a hour from the airport via taxi [70 euro]. Within walking distance of a handful of bars and local shops and the beach, however a difficult and busy road to cross in between. highly reccomend renting a car [30 euro a day] and using the hotel as a base to explore near by Rethymno and popular beaches around the island. looking forward to returning again next year!

Tusen tack till Garifalia för en bra vistelse. Läget är perfekt - man befinner sig mitt i stan samtidigt som rummet känns som hemma. Trevligt att ha balkong, ACt fungerade bra och det finns hiss. 5/5

Our great experience is not only limited to accommodation, but goes beyond! From the beginning Giorgios showed great kindness and interest in making sure our experience in Chania was the best. He was very helpful in helping us to know the places of interest to visit, as well as good restaurant recommendations. He also helped us plan how to get from the airport to our accommodation, making things much easier. We thank Giorgios from the bottom of our hearts for his great support, which played a great role in our beautiful experience in Chania! One of the things that greatly enhance the experience is to meet kind and good-hearted people. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect! Several spots that are a must-see if you visit Chania are only a few meters walking distance away. On the other hand, the place is very cozy and warm.
