Saltwater is a purpose-built holiday house located on 20 ha (50 acres) of bushland overlooking the tranquil waters of Pelican Lagoon. Completed in 2019, the house is light-filled and airy, with north-facing windows and deck capturing the winter sun and wonderful views of the lagoon and surrounding bush. The house is simply but tastefully decorated with bamboo flooring, comfortable furnishings and beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious living area. The nearest neighbors are 1 km away.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Only 10 minutes from the ferry, the cabin is situated on a sheep farm and nestled into the rolling hills with panoramic ocean views. A secluded retreat hidden amongst the grass trees. Grass Tree Gully is nestled on traditional Ngarrindjeri land neighbouring Deep Creek Conservation Park on the southern most tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The cabin has stunning views from the deck through a valley of pristine bush that meets the ocean and across to Kangaroo Island.

Samphire is a stunning holiday house that is located directly on the waters edge, with incredible views across the American River Channel to Island Beach. There is no other house in this position. An ideal spot for bird watchers, nature lovers, fisherfolk or a family just wanting to hide away for a while.
