Most idealic place we stayed during our road trip. The couch in the back to watch the sunset is fantastic. Genuinely a unique experience. Would stay again if we are in the area

We came to St. Donatus to do the outdoor stations of the cross on Good Friday and we stayed through Easter. The whole family had so much fun. My husband and I liked hanging out in the barn, because we could grab a drink for ourselves and our girls could get some pop and play board games with us. There was enough variety of both drinks and games for everyone! My girls commented on how comfortable the beds were, and they enjoyed bathing in the claw foot tub. We went to dinner across the street on Friday night, and they were having a seafood buffet for Good Friday. It was delicious. We will definitely plan to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can do more activities outdoors. Kari and Don were great hosts!

Kari was great. let me know she was out of town but she would be returning that evening I checked in. communicated about the property and was super helpful. the price was great... a single room with a jacuzzi tub... definitely worth the price and when I head to that part of the state in the future will definitely stay with Kari again!

Super cute, cozy, rustic stay! we made last minute plans to visit the Bridgea of Madison county. Pictures and listing matched perfectly. It was a brisk 45 that evening, but we still opted for an outdoor shower! HOT shower with an amazing view of the stars!!! Stairs to the loft bed were a little steep, but we didn't have a problemon with them.

If you’re looking for something unique and eclectic, this is the place. It’s very well done inside, and peaceful surroundings outside. We love the comfortable feel of the place and the fun vibe. It has everything we needed and plenty of space to hang out as a family. The barn is clean and cozy. This was our 2nd stay and we will be back!

We loved stayed at this charming B&B and couldn't have asked for a more delightful overnight getaway to celebrate my birthday and out 16th anniversary! Jim and Kay greeted us as soon as we got there and made us feel at home from the start. The private, cozy space and the charming decor provided the perfect escape from everyday life, offering peace and comfort in equal measure. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a wonderful way to start the day. Despite being just 30 minutes away from home, it felt like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and recharge over the weekend!

A perfect stay from start to finish! This amazing property was like stepping into a cozy cottage in a Hallmark Christmas movie! William was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make this a wonderful visit. I would HIGHLY advise others to choose this property for their stay as it has everything needed for an amazing experience overall! Travel to and from the property was easy and provided a nice level of privacy and comfort that no other properties in the area could provided. The cherry on top was the high accessibility of this property. My father is wheelchair bound and he was able to visit us here with no challenges! This cannot be said of any other property we searched while trying to find the perfect stay in the Omaha area. The only limit on this was a step to get into the first floor shower. Otherwise, doors and spaces were great for him! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Can’t say enough good about this place! It was open and inviting for several of us to be there. Has everything you need as the kitchen is completely stocked!

Beautiful and unique stay, the barn was restored with the utmost attention to detail. Kids loved the loft. Fantastic use of space.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Decorah. This place instantly stood out to us because of the location! It was very quiet and peaceful and had beautiful scenery. Molly was an excellent host and was flexible with check in times. We felt very at home! Would definitely stay here again!

This is really great place to stay. Very clean, awesome charm. My wife and I loved all the games that were available. Loved the spiral staircase!! Definitely would recommend staying here.

Love it!! Booked later in the evening as I needed a place close to Schuyler and Columbus Nebraska to spend time with my boyfriend. It was pouring rain and she met me with a smile because I could not figure out the door and it’s not the door it was me. Everything was amazing. So many small details definitely not overlooked by Rose. Quiet, comfortable, and cozy rainy night. Don’t forget she has farm fresh eggs in the fridge (she puts the dates the eggs were laid 🥹). I highly recommend it if you need a place that has casino down the road with great food, outdoors, and peace and quiet. This is the place. Thank you so much, Rose 🌹

Our second stay this year! We appreciate being able to stay in the country and have a pet friendly place to escape to. It truly feels like home away from home. Getting to see all the deer this time was a bonus!

So happy we decided to stay here. Great place to stay. Kids and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if it’s possible or makes sense, given it’s primarily a wedding venue versus an apartment, but a little area with a tv and sofa/futon would have been nice helping get kids wound down for bed. Overall we really loved the place. There were so many unique special touches that made us smile. Plenty of space and restrooms. Kids LOVED climbing the ladder to their bedroom. They also had fun just being in the country. By the trees and pond. :) Great barn. Clean and charming. We’ll be back. Thank you so much!

The property is gorgeous! Everyone was super friendly including the pets! We will definitely be staying again!

The Barn House was in a beautiful location and it housed all 15 of us very comfortably. Very clean. No complaints whatsoever. Also, Gerarda was very friendly while also maintaining privacy. 10/10 experience.

We had wonderful stay this weekend in Dubuque. The restored barn and outdoor settings are even better than the pictures. It is clear a lot of time and care went into restoring the place for a comfortable and relaxing get away. Our hosts were accessible and great at communicating our arrival and check out.

Remote location with a nice yard deck to sit outside. Mark was very responsive when we had questions. Place was very clean. Kitchen was a little small for cooking for a bigger group, but it was still a perfect place for a group bachelor party.

3rd time staying at Jennifers place and it will not be the last.
