Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

Welcome to our creekside cabin, just 9 miles from Lassen National Park. The all-season Bailey Creek runs through the property. After a long day at the park, relax on 800 sqft. of multi-level deck to the sounds of the creek or lounge creekside around the fire pit. Our cabin is cozy for a couples weekend but also spacious for a large group of eight with 2 bedrooms downstairs (King Bed and a Queen Bed), a loft bedroom (King Bed), and a fully stocked kitchen. Our cabin has beautiful hardwood floors, new appliances, tempurpedic mattresses and a cozy large living and dining space off of the kitchen with a covered deck in the backyard with a peaceful view in to the forest and meadow. Can be rented along with Cabin 1928 next door if you have a larger family. Very convenient for hiking and exploring Lassen Volcanic Park or enjoy the surrounding area . Perfect fishing and swimming holes are near by too. Our cabins are only 5 miles from the Park!

Cozy cabin near some of California's most pristine pine forest, waterholes and fishing, and only 9 miles from the Lassen National Park's Southwest Visitor Center. The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

Hiking, lake swimming and exploring is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the Gold Lakes Basin area. 5 Fantastic golf courses are just 15-30 minutes away. So much to do in our rural area and come back to our peaceful hideaway.

Adorable cabin in the Lassen National Forest is just 15 minutes away from the Lassen Volcanic National Park entrance and its beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. Also, explore the Pacific Crest Trail, Lake Almanor, or fishing in Battle Creek. Stay a while and relax, or work remotely in this newer cabin with awesome Starlink Wifi, master bedroom (Queen Bed) and a loft (Two Double Beds). Families are welcome; however, please do not book more than four adults.
