The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. Quiet cottage in rural location 200m to the forest surrounding the Wye Valley. The large wrap around garden enjoys views to the East and the North with secluded patio seating area. Great for walking the dogs, mountain biking, canoeing, caving, adventure activities or relaxing in front of the fire. Only 100m from local pub and 20mins ride to the cycle centre. This cottage is a great place to unwind and enjoy the Forest of Dean and also to explore South Wales and surrounding historic towns.

3 bedroom, peaceful, secluded, & large garden

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Country cottage with private woodland and orchard.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.
